Default Question: How Much would you Pay for this Jeep?

Not a sale/buy thread as I don't own the vehicle, but interested in knowing what is the market price for something like this. And the market price would be exactly what you would be willing to pay for it, hence the question. Key specs are as follows:

    Jeep Wagoneer 1978
    Toyota B1 engine and gearbox.....
    Original suspension and Diffs....
Probably Government owned NayaDaur import/assembled model....
Evidently a low mileage vehicles with very good body and mechanical integrity...

These are hard to find & priceless stuff, it all depends on the owner demand. Check papers & tokens status then only a price can be offered.

Though these vehicles are very rare and of quite interest to enthusiast but the regular joe is least interested in these as he/she is looking for reliability/availability and obviously considers shelf life, which these vehicles have completed way before our time.

If its an auctioned car, i'd pay for what it was auctioned plus 16% GST, and 2-5% additional to the seller for the his services. If not, get a insurance guy to quote you the value of a 1978 Jeep Wagoneer.

All inclusive auction price plus 10 to 15 % is my call depends auction is not more than 2years old because token starts right away from the date of auction.

OK gentlemen, I revive this thread because myself and Doc Ehsan are now actively looking for a Cherokee/Wagoneer in the older SJ shape.

The pics I posted above are from a vehicle parked in Abbotabad and I hear that there are also similar ones somewhere in Mardan and Quetta. Though we primarily need the body and frame of the vehicle (in good shape and with genuine papers) would really love to find something with the original engine and gear box (though understandably thats probably asking for too much!).

Would really appreciate help/spottings/info from all pakwheel memebers on any vehicles/shells for sale or potentially available! Thanks in advance for your assistance and interest!

I don't know much about 4x4s, so this comment may end up being stupid.

There's a Ford Bronco with pretty decent outlook standing in Islamabad's G8 cars market, the color is red. And though it isn't a Cherokee, it sure looks as good. The model is from 1985-1989. The shape is something like the photo below

@Lalani - Absolutely none. I'm never interested in knowing about 4x4s (unless its a cayenne), so I didn't ask.

You can ask some friend from Islamabad to visit G8 market, and he can post real photos and get to know the price as well. I'm in Lahore so can't.

    Default Risalpur Ravens

Jeep Wagoneer SJ - 1982 and 1978 models up for sale in Mardan....Both jeeps probably from some Customs auction, have been heavily used and modified too and have been stationery for sometime now it seems. Owner is not likely to sell below PKR 250K each.

Thanks for the shout, really appreciate the post. The Bronco is an awesome 4x4 though not really what we're looking for. Nevertheless, will check out the vehicle in G8 and pay my respect if a I get a chance.
