Default Effect of weight of rim on top speed and consumption.

I just want to know that what will be the effect of different weight rims like, alloy/ steel/ chrome on torque/ top speed and suspension of a cruiser?

Also please let me know as what is the normal weight of these single rims without tires?

    Noman,
Meant to say this earlier as well... I think we have been going off the topic here for the most part here.

From what I can see, your rims are not really that wide to give you serious concern. I don't see any mud on your sides or windshield, so unless you cleaned the car before the pic, I would not really count that in this equation. Finding the right rims at the right price in Pakistan is a dilemma and somewhat of a matter of luck and you should wait for the best deal.

I think you immediate focus should be more on the tires. In my view, good tires on bad/mismatched rims will outdo bad tires on the best rims anyday. I am not familiar with Nexen tires and not sure what is the state of the ones on your TLC, but I have a feeling that you will benefit from a fresh pair. We have a some 31x10.5x15s around the house these days and you are welcome to try these on for a few days to see if there is a difference.

Would recommend a new set of rubber in any case, knowing that most second hand tires we get around here are probably not even road worthy in the developed world.

Good Luck in your search. Please do post the end result here, preferably with pictures.
