    You have got to be kidding me. I cant imagine taking her over 80 or 90 max.. anything over is way too dangerous for a light vehicle like this...

    Storm..am at the airport.. things worked out last night.. my last trip was a day trip and this one was a day trip as well.. after seeing bit of islo i am wondering why i dont come out here more often, its simply stunning. Maybe Inshallah will come back next week with my family and go up to the mountains with a friend of mine who already has a trip in works...

    Haali..thanks.

    Congratulations, this was one of the first 4x4 that i liked as a kid. In fact at the time (1980's) i offered the lady who owned it to buy it from her when i grew up. Anyhow i never bought it but even today i think it is a great little machine and the one you have is in excellent condition. Go luck with your offroad trips.

    Sarmad, we did some light off roading.. the kiddos were with me so I was easy on the pedal. Mitsu man took her for a spin as well.. and gave his blessings.. I was just amazed to see him fit in that little cabin (-;

    Sajid's pocket rocket lived upto expectations.....performed pretty well over whatever I threw at her....dunes, soft sand, mud.....a walk in the park sort of thing....the power to weight ratio being the main factor.... I can vouch for this being more reliable than his 'expedition surf', any day!.... MASHALLAH!

    Mitsu.. come on u dont need to take a dig at the Surf.. it has its own charm.. and power too..

    Was in Islo for few days and observed two things..
    There are some wonderful 4x4s out there.. all very prepared..
    and they seem to have cornered the market of all the suzuki fx cars for some reason..

    I know.. give me few months... have few thoughts going thru my mind..

    winch
    snorkel (by the way any idea how can i put one? specially if I put the windscreen down)
    hi lift jack
    few grab bars

    Its really powerful and nimble, the 2.5 liter engine performs pretty well..
    but still it wont be a defender
