    Default Finaly I have a CJ-7 Jeep

    Recently bought a jeep CJ-7 from Kashif Khan (FIHSAK) with the help of Burhan Khan (LAPARWAH)
    Went to Hayatabad to collect it.
    I was planing to buy a CJ for a long time, will not tell you know since when, but real long time.
    The rig is clean and stock. Obviously the engine has been changed. That I dont mind as I am a great lover of Compression Ignition engines.
    The rig needs some work to come up to the mark that I want.
    Despite the fact that Burhan and Kashif told me to keep it the way it is, I will do some changes.
    Here are some pics of the rig and my trip to Hayatabad.
    Special thanks to Burhan Khan(LAPARWAH)

    Nice! Do let us know how it turned out with the new Ranchos, my impression is that it probably would be a bit stiffer in the start but lots of control on high speed turns etc!

    @Suhaib
    I will certainly let you know bout that.
    There is a minor problem wif the balance of my rig. It sits a bit higher on the left side. I mean it is tilting from left to right. Do I need to get the Leafs serviced again?
    Will post the pic aswell.

    I don't remember it having any major tilt while it was here, and even if it does I don't think it should be anything major. Just put on the shocks and bash it around a bit, probably the leaves will either settle down in place or the problem will show itself

    All the best!

    Also you should edit your first post to add some of the newer pics as the rig is looking much sexier now.... all you need is some new rims to complete the revival story.

    My advice is to take it to Pindi and get the basics right. As in Lahore it is quite difficult to get things done. This i am telling you with years of experince.

    Oh alright, thats quite a big droop. Looks like something is up or rather down with the front right kamani. You probably need to get it re-arched.... hopefully that should be it!
