The dealership has suggested that you change the tires at 60k probaly because that is the recommended usable life of the tires as recommended by the tire manufacturer. Beyond the usable life, the tires start becoming unsafe as the rubber compounds wear off making them prone to punctures, cracking and bursting after a long run on a hot road, which is probably very common as you live in Dubai.
All tires have a usable life, high quality tires would be around 60 to 75k, sports tires (soft and grippy compounds) have shorter lives of 35 to 40k and so on...
As Hasan said, since the company is footing the bill, just change them, and even if theyre not, don't risk your life to save a bit of money, just change the tires.
