    Default What do you know about Suzuki Sierra Jeep?

    Aoa to all offroaders n others,
    Can anyone put me wise on the jeep known as SUZUKI SEIRRA?on fol lines pl...

    1.is it 1300?

    2.Is it different than normal SJ410?

    3. Performance on road and OFF road?

    4.would it be comfortable travelling in her for long durations?

    dont buy ...............a big flop car...............itzz even not gud on on road ....................i sold my few dayzz ago

    1. 1324cc as far as i know
    2. not really much difference at all
    3. slightly more power than the 1000cc (carb) SJ410, rest is the same.
    4. not a chance,.. you'll have to modiify the suspension (make it softer)

    jimny sierra is an excellent low-budget off-roader. i had the experience of driving both, the SJ-410 n Sierra. I would say there is a significant difference in the comfort level and driving pleasure. Sierra is the winner here. I kept SJ410 as a daily runner n the ride was as hard as hell.

    Brother can u pls explain as why the comfort level is different between an SJ 410 and a sierra because i believe both have same leaf springs, same shocks, same suspension, same width and length.

    The only difference is of engine power, power steering and booster brakes. Rest is the same as of SJ 410.

    The orignal Sierra comes with coil springs. thats why the drive is comfortable as comparedto SJ410.

    all models are not comes with coil spring,coil spring .from 95 to onward its coil spring,old shape sierra are with two fog lights with front beam and 3 vertical exhaust bars in sides of bonnet

    @ nomanff,the comfort difference is very much importent between both.sieera is more comfort,we can compare difference between ride of alto and ride of cultus.

    @noman, the sierra i drove had coil springs. its comfort level was comparable to my old 08 1.3L jimny.

    Suzuki SJ410 or Jimny 1000. (1981-1989), leaf spring, 1000cc F10A 8valve carbureted, 45-52 hp, max speed 109km/h, 4 speed manual, full time connected front hubs. narrow axle tube & wheels (hissa). less electronics, AC optional, heater standard, simple drum brakes, no anti-sway bar less stable in hi speed. good ground clearance in offroad, lighter & less comfortable than sierra.
    Suzuki SIERRA (Jimny 1300): (before 1995) 1300cc, 8 vavle, carbureted, 70 hp G13ba. 5 speed manual, 4x4, front manual hub locks, softer leaf spring suspension anti-sway bar stable ride on hi speed, max 122km/h, wider solid axle tube & wheels, heavier car more comfortable than sj410, separate rear foldable seats with belts, power brakes front disc, power steering, AC/heater standard. more electronic gadgets new interior, 15 inch steel rims, bull bar fog lamps...
    . SIERRA (After 1995-98) 1300 G13bb 16 valve EFI, 85 hp. 5 speed MT/AT, better coil suspension anti-sway bar, wider solid axle tube & wheels, power steering & disc brakes, new plastic interior & new better dashboard more electronic gadgets, AC/Heater standard, new better separate 2 foldable rear/front seats with belts, new bumpers & front grill fog lamps. 15 inch alloys., more fast stable & comfortable ride. better fuel efficiency...
    all of them are best reliable tough successful affordable small suvs & fun to drive easy to maintain, better market value, far better than other competitors in its class....
