    yaar awesome video

i was witness to the jimny loading on the trolly and packing for the trip.

The kind of equipment and gear saidhi used to pack and make sure every necessary item is not missed. Its not only the jigra u need to do such driving but also very very organized team to back u.

I know qasim bhai has announced retirement but i also know that it will not last long - rally driving is an addiction and he has gone quite far out in the desert to come back

@janj - amazing video compilation. u have started to shine in ur video editing skills

The need for speed in me will probably never die. Having said that, I left rallies for basically two reasons, firstly to save some money to buy a house. By the Grace of All Mighty, am already in the process of acquiring one and Inshallah, if all goes according to plan, will be the proud owner of a small but comfortable house in Gulburg Lahore by this October.

The second reason to voluntarily retire was to concentrate a bit more on work, well am trying to do bit by bit. Hopefully, by next year, my law firm should be doing fine again, following which, I might jump into a couple of selected rallies, rather than doing all the ones around PK.

God being the best Planner, lets see what the future brings my way. Keeping my fingers crossed

My whole family knows what I do as most of them are on FB. My Father, who himself traveled throughout Europe and USA on motorbike during 1960s, always ask all details of every tour/rally and of course I tell truthfully.

My mother is simply out of this world. The moment she saw the jump's pic, she asked for a enlarged copy, which she has placed in her home's lounge and proudly tells everyone how a bystander took this amazing pic during rally.

Never heard a work of complaint from my wife. My father-in-law enjoy rallies himself and once traveled me by road to Gawadar (around 5000 kms round trip) to be a part of my Recovery Team for Freedom Rally 2008.

My 4 year old love 4x4s, Defender is his favourite and insists to be dropped and picked from school on it. He always takes a copy of rally or tour pics to his scool to show off and his teachers tell that he brags about his Baba will all the classfellows.

I am truly blessed to have a family like this.

Rolled over Jimny being towed back to camp in soft sand from 90 kms inside Cholistan Desert, a feat made easy by my trusty Defender and Recovery Team

All the best for everything bro! Wonderful to see these videos on air as it was great fun seeing them at your place sometime back!

On a lighter note, after seeing video again particularly the intro of the Jimny being loaded onto the trailer plus the Evo-Baltoro chummi-kaati incident, it is my humble suggestion that when you make it onto the rallyscene again, do insert a pedal between the accelerator and the clutch and label it "BRAKE"
"If YOU don't believe in what you're doing it'll never work."
