Default ADAM Zabardast quite similar to Nissan Jonga

I feel Adam's Zabardast draw much of its inspiration and bodyline from Nissan YB Patrol series ( In India it is Nissan Jonga produced locally in early 70s) Here are your pictures to give a match

Boltoro seems to be one step backwards coz it is more nearer to Jeep Renegade. Is'nt it?!!

no i certainly dont think so.
Datzburier has explained this very nicely so i quote ( i hope he doesnt mind) :

"The shape of Boltoro has a good advantage.

That classic shape always sells, anywhere in the world, due to the image of CJ and Jeep wrangler developed over 6 decades. It closest Rugged, Jeep body competitor would be Land Rover Defender. Although that is a bit bigger, but the price of Defender at 25 Lakh, gives Jeep Boltoro a solid advantage. Its built tough, just as Defender is built, with mostly local parts.

The engine used by Adam Motors in Boltoro is very reliable. Isuzu engine has earned 4 out of 5 stars, by an American safety and mechanical evaluation agency.

Incidently, that American firm has given American Jeep Cherokee, and American Jeep Wrangler, 2 out of 5 stars in terms of Safety and mechanical reliability."

    Now wait for my comparisions....

First of all we should never involve nationality issues in wheel posts coz a car has no country in fact, it has a school of thought as far as its design etc is concerned.

Secondly, Zabardast's design equations and proportions are quite similar to Nissar Jonga ( watch of grille size, front mudguards, Bonnet, door lines, body size etc ) If still one cannot figure out similarities it is not my fault.

Then comes the question of posting Bolero's picture and starting the post for that particular reason, surprising, I could have started the post directly by posting Bolero's pictures. Yes the design of Bolero is also open for comparision, there should be comparision so that we get aquainted with different design schools.

We should open our minds and stop taking pride in mine and your. Neither Mahindra is mine nor Zabardast is yours. We are consumers and must be thankful to Pakwheels to letting us make analysis and comparision of different wheels.

I would welcome comparision of all the Indian vehicles on similar lines and that way we are not anyway letting each other down because Pakistan and India can not take pride in inventing automobiles.

Nightsurfer has given a very good opinion on Boltoro and I totally agree with him that Jeep lineage could sell more as a trusted and reliable workhorse with a strong jeep image.

That is the point where we could pin the axis of this discussion that Zabardast lineage is somewhat not in demand in Pakistan or India.

    Thanx Nightsurfer.

Yes it helped me open my mind,

But the issue is not with the comparision, it is indeed a healthy sign but we must omit one thing, that is taking things personal or seen into National perspective.

Through these threads we really come to know from where our companies are drawing inspiration or copying whatever may be.

That is where our cause is served.

    Thanx for the post address.

Indeed, datzburier is a Gem among us, He has a mind with vast knowledge and that too with a high degree of accuracy. His posts are free from prejudice, bias and most importantly very objective and informative.

We need such minds to lead us through black towards the light ( rightful knowledge and ability to do self assessment ).

Copying is spreading all over the world. We copied them, they copied others and it goes on and on.
