    Default Farewell to Jahangir's CJ7

I just found out over the weekend that Jahangir's CJ7 which I consider to be one of the icons of IJC had been sold. Here goes the only tribute I can give to this great vehicle: A few parting snaps Farewell to Jahangir's CJ7 - icon cry

There is no doubt about Jahangir's contribution in promoting Offroad Sport
Performance of his CJ was always upto the mark in IJC's events

I'm sure Jehangir is glad its gone!!

He will prolly come up with something much better now that he is better equipped to prepare his own jeep!

I think he probably is as he had been wanting to sell it for a while.... but its one of those things that you always remember later as "the one that got away"

In this case its also one of those classic stories where father buys car, father teaches kids to drive car, kids take over car and.....

I remember a particular crazy early IJC offroading session when the Cherokee got badly stuck into a muddy ditch and Jahangir's father towed it out with the then white CJ...

    Default To jhalli!

This jeep was the best thing that ever happened to me. I've had all the fun on it on and off the road. It's really hard for me to let it go. But, InshAllah, I'll bring it back when my time comes.

Here are a few memorable pictures and a video:

After this event, this track was called 'Mir Chowk'.

i hope that the new owner puts it to full use.

This CJ was one of the inspiration for relatively new jeepers. Atleast I was tempted into offroading stuff thanks to this jeep along-with the KIANIs' CJ-7.

Pajamas don't have zips laalay! That would be uncomfortable. Will find out though soon how the zipper is holding up

Jahangir, best of luck in the future. I think we all know how difficult it is to get rid of a jeep that has served you well. Its like your first crush, you'll never forget it, even though you may get a newer bimbo with more curves.

A true Jeep and its owner indeed, seen him in action many times with the true spirit of OFFROAD and his jeep supporting him all the way with all the ups and downs.

As a Jeep owner myself, would just like to say one thing for Jahangir and his Jhali as it was

"GET IN, SIT DOWN, SHUT UP & HOLD ON"!!!!
