    Arrow Raised Suspension in 4X4.....

Would 4X4 owners prefer to lift their cars (for good road clearence etc.) with proper lifting kits or still go for the old way of using huge rubber bushes......?

    Hi Hilli Billi,

Using proper kit is a very good idea, never thought of it though!

Please tell me how can I get hold of similar kit like urz including price, as I have 1994 Prado (Auto).

    Many thanks,

    Ali

I agree, I have replaced my old suspension with Ironman Kit and I am very happy with the results. Specially when I am able to fit 35 size tyres...Amazing off road experience with no stress of rocks demaging the underneath of the car.

Yes, you are right it needs metal bumpers and the snorkel. I will send these in my next shipment to Pak, don't know if I can get these in Pak.

Its 1Kz, manual. Huge tyres but no bad on fuel . I drove it from Islamabad to Muzaffarabad than to Swabi through Haripur- Siri-kot and returned, tyres are bit noisy on roads but a wonderful experience. Kit and tyres gave good 6"+ lift to the LC. I am 5'-11" still was strugging to get on to the driving seat.....

About the off road drive, trust me it was the most comfortable and confident experience for me since this kit and tyres were installed (I am driving 4X4 in Kashmir and sorrunding areas since 1998 and still have my CJ-7 awaiting upgrade).

Price of kit and tyres are Rs. 120,000 + (new, bought in June 2010 installed in March 2011) and 110,000 (used) respectively.

    Thanks

    Thanks.

No rubbing at all. 33" / 35" are recommended tyres sizes for this suspension.

Just need to get metal bumpers now.
