    I drive a Gen 2 Pajero 3 door, I find that to be a great daily drive and weekend offroad, it's comfortable, looks good, has all the creature comforts, and is small enough to navigate comfortably through the urban congestion.
    I used to own a Jimny too, bought it back in the days when it wasn't so expensive, mine was a 2008 1.3 M13A, very good vehicle all around, drove just like a car but a bit bumpier and I found it lacked the low end torque needed to go up very steep and long slopes during offroading. Also it was a bit too small for my liking.

    check my ride, it is totaly mint in condition and gives good fuel economy of 9.5 km/ltr in city and 14 km/litre on highway. Currently the jeep does not need any sort of work. Everything works perfect as it was intended to be. Ride like a zerometer SUV.

    For diesel touching Rs 100.your best bet would be to go something with petrol engine.Have u considered suzuki LWB AKA sj413
    Qaiser Pal,I have not failed.But found 1 of 10,000 ways which doesn't work.....Toyota driver "I couldn't repair my brakes,so i made my horn louder"..When i was born i was so surprised that i didn't talked to one and half year..since light travel faster then sound,people appear bright until you hear them speak..If u can't convince them,confuse them

    @ Jboy,
    Your Pajero is beautiful, even the tires are looking awesome, how are they in terms of driving and what size are they, could you please let me know how much they were for, I have the exact same Pajero as yours, I love the plain sides without those over fenders, the only thing I am against is your Pajero having the Landcruiser 80 series rims, Pajero oem rims also come in a similar pattern, was there a major difference in the ride and the power when you switches from the standard 15" rims to these 15" rims and larger tires, I'm assuming you also have a 4D56T? The rims and tires do give your vehicle a really good lift, all in all it looks awesome.

    @rao_hims1
    Sir you ARE demanding ;-)
    Come over and have a look at it in person, you can PM me,
    mine is a 1991, engine is the original 2.5 4D56 intercooler turbo, still going strong and running perfectly,
    the work done to it is subjective, it was fine when I got it but I had it completely refurbished, then I changed the tires and rims, still stayed with oem but just got a different rim pattern, had lots of services, oil changes, flushed all the fluids a few times now and still counting! Replace all the filters (oil, air, fuel) after every 4 months irrespective of milage, have the greasing done every month again irrespective of mileage,
    It drove fine but due to my keera replaced a lot of things in the suspension so now it drives really very smooth, again replaced everything with OEM, put a bullbar on the front and a rear impact bar, new upholstery, a very close and dear friend whom I purchased it from already had installed the snorkel, did some minor additions to that,
    replaced all the bulbs interior / exterior, dashboard etc, replaced all the fuses and relays etc with new ones, and even now when ever I'm free usually on weekends I replace, clean, wax or spit polish whatever I can get my hands on! Btw your LWB Pajero is also beautiful, really very nice except for the seat covers :-p
    I am these days considering replacing my SWB with a LWB and I would have def gone for yours if I had the dough, why are you selling it?

    Thanks Faraz! I was as skeptical as you are now on getting Mts, but they looked so damn good i decided to go for it even if they meant a lot of noise on the road, and to my surprise they arent noisy at all. there is a very little noise which you totally miss out in the 4d56ts noise. They look awesome, drive well and got them for a deal. Cost me about 12.5 K a tire. As far as the rims are concerned they are not the cruiser originals but rather a copy...and yes they do look a little off! in fact, i was thinking of having them changed.
    Not much difference in the ride as such. The braking area increased just a tad bit, but dude they look so good you will forget these minor details.
    Trying to look for a decent V6 now. Lets see how that goes. Do post some pictures of your ride.

    @Asif, Mate i got a beat down truck for a little over 600k put in some time and effort and it turned out decent. If you search for it you should get a half decent machine for around the same price and then whatever you spend on it is your premium.

    Jboy,
    The Pajero looks fab!!! Very hot,
    I was also thinking of painting the shield under the radiator red! But too many ideas and too little time, I like to do these things myself, don't have the time or patience to explain the job to the painter, then drop the vehicle, then wait for him shuffling his feet and faffing around, then go to collect the vehicle only to find that he didn't mask off the area as well or didnt apply enough paint layers etc,
    Im thinking of doing the rust proofing on the undercariage myself this time, seeing if I can find someone kind enought to lend me a trolley jack and 4 jack stands, lets see how that turns out,
    Btw wat size are the rims? and What is the tire size, 12.5 is a decent deal, the Savero MTs are around 14 or thereabouts, but you're right, they look hot, how much do they stick out of the body? Btw the V6 grill looks hot too! I have a couple of grills but not the V6 insert, will probably tinker around and customise an insert for myself but it won't say V6, let us know how you get along with finding the V6 engine, I've heard it won't marry up to the 4D56 gearbox, also diff ratios would not match but that's definately something on my to do list.

    Asifcae:
    Jboy is spot in with the numbers, you'll get a base vehicle which needs some work for around 6 to 6.5, after that sky is limit for what you're willing to do to it, it's very addictive, for me every 4X4 is like playing with Lego, just keep building till all the pieces run out, and then go get some more...!

    @Mistu_man
    You're right about this becoming a Pajero fan club Hahahhaha

    First you buy a bicycle and then you learn to ride it,
    get a good base vehicle, i.e. good chasis, acceptable body, good engine and gearbox, the rest you will learn,
    once you get a 4X4 to daily runner condition everything else is just an enhancement and there's plenty of help from people on PW, plus you have IJC (Islamabad Jeep Club) where you can get loads of tips and tricks from, finding people to help out isn't tough, make your mind up, be firm on your decision, take the plunge and the rest is history,
    don't worry about not knowing how to work with them, no one is born with the knowledge, it's all aquired.

    apologies for a delayed response. tht pajero wasnt mine exactly, it belonged to a close friend. it was in a real good condition except for the interior which needed thorough room cleaning. i offered him a price tht suited my mind but he refused to give it to me on tht ;-) he managed to sell it on a price very close to his demand....courtesy my ad on pak wheels
