@Shahmir: I believe this question has been addressed on the forum a couple of times before. You should try and search the topic and go through results in detail which will give you some interesting perspectives. Here are some threads I remember off hand:

    https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/4x4...tions-required

Even found a few threads with our Baltoro CJ Wrangler started my brother Ehsan ages ago (it was one of the first conversions back in 2003/4 and things have come a long way since then):
    https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/whe...-detailed-pics

    https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/4x4...-7-wrangler-tj

There was another thread on a white TJ Wrangler conversion done in Karachi using Jeep parts from Quetta. But I would encourage you to also look at the excellent Black CJ7 restoration done by a Muzaffarabad Jeep Club member....

Would be happy to answer any specific questions you have after the above....
    Cheers,
    SK

    Shahmir,
It is up to you and depends on what your motivations and preferences are. At the end of the day, both options are very doable and quite likeable. Neither is particularly cheap or easy....

If I were to do something with a Wrangler look today, I would probably get the front off of a TJ Wrangler (grille, hood, fenders) and mate it to the CJ7 body and doors. I would try and keep the original suspension and diffs of the CJ7 and add a good petrol engine along with a surf gearbox.....

But in all likelihood I would restore the CJ in its original shape and would just save my money for buying Wrangler accessories (fenders, roll cage, seats, bumpers etc)....

Pls do not modify yr CJ7. They are ultra rare, and once they are gone...they're gone!
Its an icon vehicle, and still VERY collectible. Check out PW member AUs CJ7. You will realise that stock is best! Spend yr money on a correct roll bar, and winch. You wont regret it.
