hein...nevers seen this jeep ever, anywhere in the world. this is ma first time. looks like a Tata . best of luck with the sale though.
just being curious, how do u find this jeep as compared to others....specially its offroading capability, its pull on main road, road grip, fuel average and all. i guess members wud be interested to know abt this vehicle
and u forgot to mention in ur ad, its a left hand drive
I knew I had forgotten to mention something important.
Thanks for your interest and pointing out the fact that I had forgotten to mention that its LHD. I have not corrected the post.
Galloper is almost same as Mitsubishi Pajero. They are some what common in Dubai and other middle eastern countries. In terms of ride quality, over all make, etc, please note that this particular vechile was imported from Germany, so the make quality is very good (its not made in germany, but i guess it was made to certain eurpean specs). The ride quality is smooth and refined. Fuel consumption is 6.5 to 8 kilometers depending up on conditions.
Off road its as good as anything else.
Parts, most Pajero parts are compatible.
with all due respect brother, the market for this SUV is what? plus LHD with manual transmission...might be a problem for most people. Have you considered approaching some embassy? that might help. Anyways good luck!
its just a modified version of pajero 1st gen model. Basically when mitusbishi corp changed the shape of pajero from gen 1 to ge n2 in 1991. Ford and hyundai borrowd the plateform and rights to build 1st gen pajero with some mods in it to market it in third world countries and europe.
It is wise to get 2nd gen paero of 1993 to 1995 in mint condition with same price range. it will have RHD and super select auto transmission with 2800cc intercooler new generation engine.
I will refer a mint conditioned 1990 end model low roof exceed Gen 1 pajero for 7 lakhs than buying this jeep.
Rest is up to people's choice.
Apologies for spoiling your thread but the subject of your post is very misleading I.e. "A 4x4 at a great value"
Drive carefully! Remember, it's not only a car that can be recalled by it's maker.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
This is a 2001 model, not 1990.
It was imported by a German diplomat and registered in 2007. The odometer reading is original.
Its a pleasure to drive and LHD is not an issue given high driving position.
I am not in a hurry to sell, so the price is what it is, and only nearest offer will be entertained.
yeh konsi jeep hai.
2 or 3 years back proton also launched their car which was based on 1984 model mitsubishi lancer (even worse than that) for ONLY PKR 750000 (brand new) but nobody got their point and the result was that they were sold for less than half price (brand new) and my dear bro even if its 2011 model it cant be compare with greatness and quality of japanese build model of 1990.
good luck for mission impossible
Very nostalgic......very nice......best of luck!
MEN DO IT AT DAKAR!!!
I am sure. you cant get the Parts for this machine, lots of mechanical problems as well, many electrical interior issues including body parts... if any one buy this he have to fabricate it in future, why not an auctioned machine for very cheap... if you have to go for modifications and alterations... this is good for one who have it... suppose you are at khunjerab pass with this space machine and it goes out of order just imagine the mess... friends normally go for off-road can dream what I said....
this is good for Islamabad fun...
sorry Bro for heart burning.....
this is only because you tried to compare it with Pajero and I love Pajero...
Be nice to the ppl while going up.. you might meet them on your way down
its only a pajero ripoff so its value should be less than original pajero. Period.
no matter if its 2001 model or 2012 model it will remain less in value than 1st gen pajero. If by any chance Mitsubishi Japan reintroduce 1st gen pajero in 2012 with price tag of 1 crore and only change the dashboard and front lights with LHD and with same underpowered 4D56 engine then will you buy it. I m sure that your answer will be the answer of everyone else here.
