RKR is probably a better bet in PK, i've kept a defender 110 and it was not bad either except the people in the back were always miserable.

if you are comparing a cabrio 90 to an RKR i'd still say the RKR is better if you can find a decent one. honestly both are amazing vehicles but having owned a defender and also sat in my friends RKR i'd go for an RKR next.

you need to clarify what you mean by rkr. rkr is a vague description as it applies to any right hand drive, short wheel base, open top landcruiser with basic trim level and a four speed gear box. you need to spevify if you are referring to a FJ, BJ or LJ landcruiser as all these vehicles had rkr models. the FJ rkr has a 6 cylinder gasoline engine with a 4 speed h41 gear box. the BJ is the same except for a 4 cylinder diesel motor. the LJ has a 4 cylinder light duty L series motor with a G40 4 forward gear box. whats your pick?

    ANYTHING but a TOYota!

On a serious note.....Defender.....as you can get one here brand new.....and it has made up good on being primitive inside by putting in that Range Rover styled dash!!!! And guess I need not elaborate on its off-road capabilities!

Relatively there is no such comparison between these 2.... but depend on what is ones requirement.. Defender extreme utility off-road vehicle... with normally 2500 turbo engines which gives eve 10-11 km/L... vs RKR 6 cyl Petrol 5-4 Km/l..... ... as far as parts are concerned... all parts of both the vehs are available in market on reasonable rates.

a RKR would be a basic trim right hand drive vehicle with a 4 speed gear box(H41). RMR would be the same save a 5 speed gear box(H150/H151). RKR or RMR have no indication of the engine used. I have seen a gasoline 3F engine RMR. The gear box in that was a 5 speed H55F.
