    Exclamation Offroad tyres wanted!

    Salaam brothers,

I am looking for some big shoes to put on my 1987 LC(BJ60).
Something close to this size: 315/65/15
If anyone can point me in the right direction or if someone has some used ones lying around for sale, I would be very grateful.
    Islamabad area preferred.
    My contact details:
    Mobile: 03012481009
    Email: hayzin@gmail.com

    Thanks!

Good you're keeping it. In my honest opinion, going that wide in tires is really going to mess things up. I have never seen this combination work, looks great, but you're not hanging it on a wall.

    @Hayzin,
Doc Ehsan Kiani has a set of 4 x 35 inch BFG MTs lying around which are in decent shape although a lil out of date. I have tried my level best to put them on one of my vehicles but have largely been unsuccessful
Probably because they are meant for some other vehicle....
    Best,

Those sound good, only problem is that right now I'm running 15inch rims so I don't know. Do you have a set of 16's?

Yes I decided to keep it, these things are hard workers and can last a life time if maintained proper.
You are right about the tyre size. Its more 'show' than 'go' but NUIC has also been running 35s and though it is heavier on its feet, it seems to be doing fine on obstacles. I just want to keep a pair for the special occasions. This machine is my daily driver so it would be impractical to slap on a big pair of shoes considering I drive over 70km a day, 5 days a week and fuel economy is a concern. But no harm in owning the big shoes for when you need them. The set up would be circumstantial. Thank you for the heads up and concern

33's can be good for both purposes and would be somewhat near stock. Will give u good clearance and good economy too. I think u already have slightly bigger shackles too?

Now those are some real bad boys!! Exactly what I'm looking for! I saw these pics on the thread you guys made for this one, excellent job! Even the Nissan Patrol has good boots on.
Tyres look great Jadoon, Mashallah! And the shoes on FDO1 are also eye brow raisers. Do let me know where they can be purchased if possible. Im guessing 14500/tyre?
