According to me Both setups are Reliable.
But in Certain situations the Stock vehicles do not perform.
You should stick with Stock vehicle until/unless you don't have big money to invest.
When going for Modifying a 4x4 There are many companies who manufacture stuff(budget comes in here).
according to what i think the mods should be like this...
Step 1
1. MT tires
2. Lift Kit(though i would recommend the whole suspension kit)
3. Winch(2x the weight of your vehicle)
Step 2
1. Air Lockers
2. Sliders
3. body armor( bullbars, side bars).
If you have a reliable vehicle(eg your 60 series) and you do these mods you are adding stuff for improvements. Always add parts which are designed and tested for your vehicle.
If you go the Jogar way(no offence ehsankiani :)).There might be reliability problems.
about chinese BJ212 or a russian UAZ I dont know if there are any accessories readily available. so the Jogars come in.
