Sorry, a bit off the topic but what kind of mileage do you get on CNG with it? Whats the cylinder size.

In fact it's a harsh decision but frankly speaking, to get an ultimate vehicle, designed as per some special requirements, one should have a modified 4X4. And since it's like a collectors item, i could never give "real ragra program" to it. I hope it gets a true lover like me.

Noman sb, it's sad to see such a beauty being let go off, really very sad,
While your reasoning is completeyl logical, you won't find this ever again,
Please bear that in mind before framing your decision.

Just to explain the reasons of this somewhat stupid decision. I know it's an ultimate 4X4 but i want something which i can throw in water, cross rivers in it and all that i can do in ordinary BJ's too. This beauty doesn't deserve such bad treatment. And it was my daily drive but now i have a suzuki too so will be keeping the next 4X4 just for weekend drives so no problem in diesel.

    Petrol
    100 speed = 7.5 km/ltr
    120 and above = 6.5 km/ltr

    CNG
    100 speed = 5 rs/km
    120 and above = 6 rs/km

(no difference with or without AC)

Why not sir...please do not let it die as a VIRGIN...let her have the taste of it all, the mud bashing, the water crossings, the steep slippery inclines..all the works...in short, let her live...

Oye hoye! Noman bhai, I had a feeling you were going to do this when we spoke last. Funny thing is, I had decided to sell my BJ60 too, and like this thread, everyone told me not to sell it, so after much debate I decided not to sell it.
I think this machine of yours can deliver and fulfill all your requirements. IF you want to take it through water, just install a snorkel and remove the carpets. Everyone here is right: you wont find something like this again.
Then again, your 'Plan B' is also good...the 'Peshawar number plate white monster' plus the Suzuki...might end up being a good combo. Good luck and keep us updated!

    @ Hassan

    I have now two options.

    Option 1.

    1. To keep the existing LJ50 as it is.
    2. Buy another 82 model onward's soft top suzuki and use it for offroading.
    3. Rubuild either a 4 door soft top chinese BJ212 or a 4 door soft top russian UAZ as per my hunting requirements.

    Option 2.

    1. same
    2. same
    3. Buy my old BJ60 which is in an outclass condition. It's with a friend who is interested to give it back to me.

And frankly speaking, for hunting and offroading, there is no difference in an FJ62 and in a BJ60. The cruiser of Nadir is an example.

Yes I've always thought there is no difference between the two(62/60).
    I think option2 is good.
