In Pindi - Hard top (roof, sides and rear doors) is available for 40k and front doors @ 30k very expensive there. And in addition they are asking 10k for fixing all this.

So i have planned for a soft top, which is for 20k final for everything including door boards, carpet, soft top, firewall upholstery and seats upholstery.

    Regards,

170k is dirt cheap if its registered and runs. Share some pics of current condition. Let me know if you need any guidelines for resto. Though i am also not a guru like others but can let you know few basic things as i am also in process for a ground up resto of 1967 fj40. For technical details, TLC40 or others may guide you better.

    Good luck.

    Abdul Basit,

Considering your requirement, you are requested reconsider before making a decision to go for FJ40. I have owned an FJ40, it is like petting an owl, but once build you will enjoying it forever.

I suggest you to consider Suzuki Potohar a good 4x4 for starters as well very economical for daily drive. FJ40 is for hardcore jobs.

    Regards,

    Abdul Rauf.
