    Question 4x4Engaged? Winter in September!!

The picture below shows the upper end of an active or moving unique (Bualtar)Hopar Glacier. Unique? where human life is found above Glacier. Because of constant breaking of ice the glacier is moving right along at about 8 inches per day. The glacier is approximate 20km long in distance. Take with you your best gripping shoes because the surface is very slippery.
The melt waters fall into the hydro power station, and then carve a constantly changing path & merge with Hispar water & finally into Hunza River.
I visited this Glacier back in 2002 with my wife & same was witnessed by 4x4 Engaged? the unspoiled beauty of Pakistan in September 2011.

This trip had its challenges, and they were many, but the WIS Gang stood by each other with no second thoughts, what so ever!

Syncview, Aamir bhai (Saint20), Immi, Janj all were amazingly supportive. One for all and all for one !!

and so, hum CHALTEY RAHEY !!

    lovely videos's ....
    excellent pictures ....
    superb coverage ....

    keep rockin' boys..

Every picture tells us what an adventure we've missed and what fun you guys had.
Breathtaking scenery from barren rocks to lush green meadows to winding rivers.
The bar is now set high and it'll be hard to raise it, but i'm sure 4x4 Engaged? will raise it once more to set new standards.
    simply awesome.

Bro it is understandable that all can not go on every trip and so this thread is dedicated to all of our members who couldn't join WIS, for any reason.

and thus, we are trying hard and our best in bringing to y'all the maximum out of WIS trip with these pictures and videos.

Waisay, BTW, we really really missed all of you, especially on the DIYs

What local delicacies you had tried at various locations. For example, did you try Chup Shoro while in Hunza Valley? So name all those local stuff you had tried and which one you liked the most?

May be i did not put it right. Bro, I did not mean the quality which caused a massive DIY. I wanted to know availability of petrol/diesel after Gilgit.
