The SJ 410 was an import as far as i know, and it had a very different dashboard. The photohar was ok, but if you want to buy a suzuki jeep for offroading you HAVE to buy a cabrio. Sorry i can't tell you about current prices but a while back we sold our office photohar for 1.80

hey.. storm bhai thanks for the advice.. btw what model was it? the one tht u sold in 180.. my cousin`s range is around 2 or 225.. what model he may get? and I think potohar doesnt have a good room space n pretty uncomfortable as well! am i right? Im not sure about the driving experience!

I also need to know, if not potohar than which car shall we go for in the range of 225 keeping in mind that he often go for long drives outta city.. so durablity n everything.. either 1000 c.c. jdm suzuki sedan? honda civic 87-88? nissan sunny 86? corolla 82? charmant 84? accord 84? mitsubishi galant 86 or mitsubishi lancer 90?

he is already having a civic 96.. but he duznt prefer taking it outta city.. as roads are not fine everywhere... so i think he needs another one which he can use for long running purposes! thanks

In your price range you can get the following.

    If he wants a Jeep..

    1. Suzuki SJ-410, Model: 1987-88, Price: Rs. 175,000 to 250,000 depnding on the condition.
    2. Suzuki Potohar, Model: 1990-92, Price: Rs. 200,000 to 250,000 depending on the condition.
    3. Daihatsu rocky, Model 1982-84, Price: Rs. 250,000 to 300,000

If he decides to go for a car..
    (In order of preference)

    1. Honda Civic, Model: 1984-86, Price: Rs. 250,000 for a good condition car with CNG.

    2. Nissan Sunny, Model: 1985-86, Price: Rs. 200,000 to 225,000 for a good condition car with CNG.

    3. Suzuki Khyber, Model 1989-1992, Price Rs. 180,000 to 225,000 for a good condition car with CNG.

aridsoul thanks for updating me.. no doubt rocky is a pure offroader but i wanna know which one is more comfortable? rocky or potohar?

and if sj-410 n potohar prices are almost same... so which one is better... n whats the difference between them? I mean.. potohar has a high roof.. but is dere any difference in the suspenssion. size of vehicle, engine or anything else?

No difference in SJ-410 and Potohar other than looks.
    I would prefer a SJ-410 anyday.

In Suzuki and Rocky I would go for a Rocky. Rocky parts would be a bit difficult to find and a bit costly as compared to Suzuki. I am talking about body parts. Suspension and engine parts are interchangeable with Toyota LC of mid 80's

Yeah you are right that you wont find a good rocky for less than 300K as for Potohar...its higher than SJ-410 so more prone to roll overs. Plus I like SJ-410 better looks wise too.
