    Default Cj 5 Pindi/Islamabad/Taxila Area

I am thinking of doing anther restoration of a cj 5 like i did back in college. I am abroad for the time being but soon heading back to Pakistan.

I have been looking around and asking friends about cj 5s army auctioned( voucher) jeeps. But everyone seems to tell me that pretty much all the cj 5s have finished and now the army is auctioning off just fjs and bjs.

Does anyone any lots that someone has recently bought ? and what is the going rate of a cj 5 and where can i find army auctioned cj 5s.. and what is the going rate of a ssr gearbox plus 3ct engine..

I hear a lot of mutts are available but no cj 5 :/.. any address/contact would be appreciated.

This was the older project I did.. I believe its back in peshawar now owned a fellow PW

An advice: DON'T GO FOR MUTT
Before CJ-5 (U-6767), I was also a MUTT owner. Its not made for offroading at all. On every event MUTT was towed back. MUTT has only good physical apperence while in offroading its ZERO

I bought a restored MUTT from Maj: Ansar @ Rs:225000/=. Spent almost Rs:120-130k on it to make it perfect in all respect (but failed to do so) And sold it @ 200K

there were two m38a-1 (military variant of CJ5) in tarnol with the kabaria next to Insaaf motors (asking 140k for the khoka). If u are interested in a restored one (with no body modification) with 3ct, im selling mine.

    Hi Waleed,

You are right about the Army Auctions has finished CJs but there is plenty of CJs available in the market. I just bought a restored CJ-5 equipped with 2C-turbo Engine couple of days ago and working to fix minor issues. If you can tell me what price range you are looking for, I may help you in finding one.
