Question Advice needed in disabling airbags - momentarily

I want to work on the front end of my Prado 90 series and wanted to know if there is a way to disable the airbags. I don't want an accidental deployment.

Will taking out the fuze for airbags disable them ?
The work required will be done on a switched off vehicle, do airbags still deploy on a switched off vehicle, if struck hard at sensitive areas?

    Thanks,
    Sarmad

Airbag is connected with your seat Belts, if you wear Seat belt that means it will deploy, on a stand by mode where the engine is turned off, even if the key is removed the air bag will still have enough stored battery power to deploy for at least a few minutes

I'm a bit confused here .... I know that they will deploy when the seatbelt is worn, but you are saying if the vehicle is stationary and engine switch off they will still deploy, that means they are not connected to the seatbelts!

to my knowledge, not much power is needed to activate the airbags....its all a chemical reaction, not an electric blower that blows up the bags with air...

@sarmadqureshi: there are collision sensors that activate the airbags....unless you activate them, nothing will happen. im not sure if it has a fuse....installing fuse for airbags doesnt sound rational...
wat kind of work are you doing?
