    Default mini pajero (Climb Problem) Help please

    I have mitsubishi mini pajero 660 CC... which is having a problem i need to ask u people of 4X4 CLub ... I hope so i will get an answer to it ...
    My pajero is having difficulty climbing small heights or humps such as while entering in my garage which is 2feet above the ground level where suzuki mehran easily enters without showing any problem. In case of mini pajero i had to take him bk in reverese gear then again try to enter in the garage.... why is it so??? jeeep like this one shall go on off road smoothly but why is this showing problem.... Is it the timing belt issue or anything else please help!!!!!!!!!!

    Is it on cng? Normally on cng it gives such problem. If its on cng thn U need to change its advancer. U need to install crank-case advancer. 70% problem will be solved.
    Or use L4 gear (ingage of L4 gear can be easily seen on 4x4 small gear)

    IT is an automatic transmission and non turbo without cng.... car 660 CC. Its pik is also low.... doesnot pick up speed after 40km/h ??? is it the gear transmission or any thing else?? Can you people also tell any state of the art workshop for automatic cars especially any mitsubishi official 3s motors?

    Brother there is nothing wrong with any tuning. Just your automatic gear convertor has problem which is a common problem with automatic transmissions. Any problem with it's tuning or if it is on CNG would have effected it's performance by not more than 20 to 25%. But not climbing any height which mehrans do, is definitely a convertor issue. Nothing to do with auto/ manual, it should climb such heights in 2H gear. If there is problem in the convertor (gear), change the gear. The 660 transmission will not be more than 5 to 6000 Rs (kabli).

    i was worried actually in changing the gear because i think whole engine has to be opened up then.... can u suggest from whiich workshop should i get this job done in Lahore and is it done commonly??? Because u seems right in what u said the gear doesnot change after 40km/h speed...

    Yes looks to me automatic converter issue. Change the gearbox.
