    Default Mitsubishi Pajero Mini

    Dear All,

    Mitsubishi Pajero mini has a bad reputaion of having a weak underpowered , high maintainence and high feul guzzling engine. 660 cc with 24 valves...

    Further more what engines options are available in the market as bolt ons. Someone told me lancer engines fit well.

    Idea is to get a balanced economy of power , feul consumption and maintenence.

    I really like the mini because of its value addition offering and price tag. Would be nice to keep as your first ever 4x4 mini suv.

    Would appreciate your views especially experianced and technically sound memebers like zulfiqar, rozz and levin.

    either everone has lost interest in mini pajero or were playing silence of the lambs.... comon guys i was expecting some good input

    There's a 1100 cc engine that come's in that model.
    Looking through the ads in pw a few people say they converted their 660cc to 1100cc.I think this engine came in a pajero mini junior although im not 100% sure

    1100 CC ECI Multi SOHC Pajero Junior's Engine will fit bolt on in pajero mini. This swap will increase the power but be sure to change the gear and all differentials along with engine. Dont know about lancer's engine.

    appreicate your remarks how ever what seems to be the problem in the 660 version

    Mitsubishi 4A31 1094cc SOHC engine which came in Pajero Junior. Its a bolt on but u need to change following:

    Transmission
    Front and rear differentials
    ECU
    Body kits available for all cars...

    how much boozing are we talking about here.... 10km/ltr with ac on light foot?
