Question HELP: Overheating problem with A/C

pajero gen 1 turbo diesel 4d56.

the problem is that when i turn on the a/c, after 20-30 min the temp needle guage goes at 50% in the middle & that makes me start to worry, and afterwards when the car stops after long drive, most of the water from radiator is evaporated & i have to refill it & top it up, the radiator coolant reservoir bottle is working fine, and everything ok with no-leaks in radiator & condensor fan also working.

This problem only occurs when turning A/C on.
But also, there is no coolant in the radiator, im only using water.

is it necessary to put in coolant? if yes , then which company coolant & how much?
Or do i have A/C Compressor problem ?
    help is needed asap.
    Thnx for ur time.

Ok guys as we have lots of mechanical experts already contributing to this thread with very worthy advice so there is nothing left for input there hence I will be making some real desi totkas on how to live with this problem
    1. Use engine braking while city driving.
    2. Put the ac blower speed to min while idling.
    3. Put the ac condensor fan to direct so that it keeps cooling the radiator even when ac trips.
    4. Blow the hot air out first when parked under the direct sunlight.
    5. Get a faster condensor fan or even two fans.
    6. See that the heater pipes are blocked and not bypassed.

Anyone is welcome to ask why? if he doesn't understand the desi logic behind these totkas
