Can u guys elaborate the advantages and disadvantages of heavy 4x4 Vehicles. I m asking in context of my recent ride Nissan Safari (weight 2473 kg) which is 157 kg heavier than Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series (weight 2320 kg).
In which ways it would have an upper hand on LC ?

In heavier vehicles, 200 or even 300 to 400 KG's doesn't have any effect on performance. There are many other factors involved. But yes if the difference of weight is more, the capabilities differ in different vehicles. The advantages of heavier vehicles are comfort, grip because of the weight provided you have an equally strong engine and stability on top speed. The disadvantages are bad fuel economy, bad performance in sand, slush and mud. Over all depends on what your purpose is.

just like noman8ff said, this weight difference is negligible. specially because they're 2 different vehicles and are designed to handle their own. but if u were to say compare 2 land cruisers or safaris of different weights, then yes the difference in weight could make the difference of night and day!!
