    8 rallies on Evo's stock 6G74 Mivec had its toll. Option was to rebuilt it or change it all together. Considering that Evo's engine lacked the necessary torqe and was atleast 50 bhp short of its current competition, coupled with the fact that two rally friends who spent 700K to rebuilt the engine, failed, it was decided to change the engine.

    2jz-gte is the choice because of its easy availability, price and power. Evo is in workshop for the transplant, lets see what happens

    2jzgte is a very good swap. I have been in few built 2jz and damn they are pretty fun to be in. For now I'm working on how to extract power from 2uzfe.
