    Post CJ7 Conversion to Pajero or Hard Top JEEP

    Dear Friends,
    jaisay ap sb ko pta hy k mein ny cj7 jeep khareedi hy,
    mein ny ab decide kiya hy k is ki body ooper sy totally changed kr doon like kisi MITSUBISHI PAJERO 5 door sy ya kisi or 5 door jeep or 4x4 SUV sy.
    i am posting my cj7 pictures and also that vehicles which i want to conversion.
    i want to confirm you that its engine suspension is in awesome condition
    toyota prado 3000cc vvti engine.
    suspension is outclass
    frame is also in very good condition no breakage repairing etc.

    please let me guide from where i can found these type bodies ?
    how much cost?
    is its possible or not in pakistan?
    etc..

    Don't make it donkey
    keep it close to original spec.
    you can make it like new by Using new wrangler bits

    If u not sure have a look rebuilt of fj40 it's on pakwheels

    but from where i can found its parts etc?
    which mechanic is best for me?
    i want to become its original shape so from where its all parts should be available?
    & how much time required if i relocate to pindi or lahore?
    plz plz plz guide me.

    Best place is Pindi to have this done unless u got really good panel beater in ur area!
    You can convert into 5 door wrangler look on net for info.
    Most of the parts for these are very cheap on www.ebay.com or any web site.
    I bought many from eBay and normal sites.
    There is lot a imagination as well not only panel beater but your ideas and study he wil put into reality.

    restore it to original specs. search & post request over this forum for a fibre top. Change of body shell over a CJ frame is not only a tricky task you need some paper work to keep it legal.

    The RED jeep in picture, with due respect i have a hunch it is not even a original Jeep from CJ series. It look like Pakistan assembled SHAHBAZ variant of Jeep from Gandhara Motors in 70s'.

    This very vehicle will eat inside out your financials and not be at par to perform as Jeep 4 x 4. At 1st opportunity sell it off at same or bit more of price u have paid for it.

    have patience and keep looking for a vehicle which is ' close to original specs with no swaps in terms of engine & body shell plus the papers be in right order '.

    restoration is a pain staking job require patience knowledge & enough spare financial resources to get work completed in 3 months later of anticipated date.

    thats my 2 cents - seasoned 4x4 addicted users from Unimog, Frontier 4x4, & IJC groups will guide you further.
