Default Having Trouble In Nissan Safari Gear

    Hi
I recently buy a Nissan safari which is converted from manual to an auto transmission not by me and it having a shifting problem some mechanic told me that "the sensor which is located over main throttle body which controls the shifting may be out of order so you should go to some good mechanic who can connect it to a scanner".
So can any one guide me where can i find a good mechanic who can fix my problem.
And i know that auto transmissions are disposable but if it is only a sensor problem then i think there is a hope.
I like to convert it to manual again so any idea of price and from where i can find gear box except shear-shah market

    Thanks

please state model year of Safari, engine it is having under the hood & transmission coupled to it. I strongly feel that ECU is not swapped / or properly wired as u stated about power button not functional. Please check your PM for details to Diagnostic dude.
