Question Suzuki Jimny/ Pothohar Diesel Conversion

    Guys,

In some month's time, I am planning to purchase a 2nd generation Jimny/Pothohar chassis and put a diesel engine in it. I've been surfing through the web to look up for a suitable engine and got my eyes stuck on a 3C-TE 2.2L for it's power and fuel efficiency. If I am to put that engine in with the transmission included, what else would I be needing except to have the engine bay modified and new fuel tank installed?

Would the stock drive-train be strong enough to hold and let me utilize that much torque?

If I am going to need a new drive-train, which vehicle's components should I be looking at?

What about suspension and steering if I am to taste an amateur-level off-road adventure?

Anything else that you guys can come up with apart from what I have mentioned, please share you thoughts, opinions, suggestions and expertise.

    Thank you!
