As we were approaching close to Naran, a strange noise started coming out whenever we hit some pot holes, so we stopped to figure out the problem and observed that the rear jump rod clamp has got opened so whenever we come across uneven surface jump rod strikes the rear differential therefore we became more careful so that we can reach Naran easily and get it fixed there.

Finally we reached PTDC Naran for breakfast at 0800 am.

After whole night travelling a short rest was mandatory.

So after a short break we headed to a local workshop to get the clamp fixed.

Offcourse, firstly while approaching Babusar top, its steep climb and as the road was under construction and stones were laid all around the track, so we have to crawl above the stones in L4 mode, secondly while going to Rama Lake track we engaged 4x4, this track was suitable for 3 door and narrow SUVs like Prado or Surf, our HJ60 was too much tight for it, thirdly we engaged 4x4 when we entered Deosai and the track was also under construction so we crawled above stones with L4 at a slow speed.

After Lunch we started our journey to Astore at 4 pm, it was really a verylong and hectic day, not reached destination after travelling 21 hrs, still 5 hrs to go. So after lunch the driver got changed and the position was held by KK with saint as navigator, while me and Immi took a nap on rear seats.

So we finally got KKH, road condition between Chilas and Raikot is pathetic lot of pot holes and land sliding area make it quite slow, however road ahead of Raikot bridge is newly completed and you can easily drive around 60km/h.

Finally we reached Astore at 8 pm,
Astore to agaya par PTDC Rama kahan he?

Got some fuel and asked the petrol filling boy how far is PTDC Rama from here and you know the default answer, "bus ye thora sa opar ja kar aa jaye ga", at this moment everyone was dead tired and the only thing we wished for was a bed.

PTDC Rama is only 8 km from Astore city but this 8 km at night when there is no body to guide is like 80 kms, got fed up and the jump rod clamp we got fixed in Naran got opened once again.

Finally we reached PTDC Rama at 9:30 pm.

What a wonderful destination, nice facilities and friendly staff and most importantly we informed them when we left Chilas that we are coming and we will have dinner.

Thank God that we got hot water and we got fresh up, now we were bit relaxed to have dinner.

    Night was quite cold.

While waiting for the dinner, we kept on discussing about the milestones we covered in a day and our next day plans.

"PTDC Rama is only 8 km from Astore city but this 8 km at night when there is no body to guide is like 80 kms, got fed up and the jump rod clamp we got fixed in Naran got opened once again"

It reminds me of a adventure that night when we took a wrong track!!!
