What fluids were put into exactly where? Was the AHC fluid contaminated too? What fluid was put into the brake system reservoir?

All these codes point to the ABS control unit and pump going bonkers crazy, It seems that the driver poured the Rs 15/ brake fluid that is usually bought by the old ricksha drivers.

The obvious first thing to do is to completely powerflush the brake system with proper DOT3 or DOT4 brake fluid, Connect a proper tester to the can system and make the ABS pump work and flush, it might be salvageable, if it does not respond and you are sure the truck was not washed like a buffalo and all wheel sensors are clean and no wiring is broken then the only remedy would be to source a new/salvage ABS pump.

Test the accumulator pressure sensor - and then proceed logically. It wont be cheap though.

you should have advised him to check the sensors first.

BTW in PK nowadays 90% of brake oil you find at stores is either recycled or counterfeit..try sourcing one from Metro stores or GUARD directly

Take the vehicle to Toyota 3s dealer and make them flush all fluids and change it with correct ones.

In a normal operating vehicle the MC sensor only goes bad when watered brake fluid gets in or something really corrosive happens, As the poster said some weird brake fluid was used and then these faults started to show, it is safe to assume the fluid was really at fault and it may have swelled up the cups and seals which will throw off system pressure. It can and does happen with bad brake fluid.

However if this would have happened just on a regular day with normal operation then yes - the sensor check would be the first order.

Brake-eyel brake-eyel hota hai DAT rating ka ho ya SAE rating ka ho

    - if you do not have access to Toyota scan tool i can share a desi Totka to flush the brake fluid from such a car. Some one did it successfully without any damage to a 2004 Land cruiser prado, and am still in shock, because the vehicle is working GOOD without a visit to toyota shop.

step 1: remove the brake fluid feed to abs pump from boaster fluid reservoir
step 2: remove all fluid feed lines from abs pump in engine bay
step 3: remove fluid feed line to wheels
step 4: apply low pressure air to all 4 lines brake lines will be empty
step 5: refill fresh brake fluid in reservoir & pump pedal to drain out the fresh & contaminated fluid
step 6: remove battery negative (ground) from battery terminal
step 7: reconnect the fluid lines on all wheels
step 8: reconnect the fluid line to abs pump
step 9: reconnect wheel feed lines on abs pump
step 10: fill fresh brake fluid
step 11: reconnect battery negative (ground) to battery terminal
step 12: start engine & bleed each wheel one by one 100 ml each wheel shall be discarded to ensure bad fluid is out & away from abs pump

    - to me its crazy - because the only error popped was check brake fluid lamp on dash cluster which also turned off after top-up

but thats' how Ustaad did it in under 1 hour without any scan tool & wisdom we call Technical skill, at Mir pur mathelo.

you dont need to disconnect anything just need a person to pump the pedal and about 2 litres of brake fluid, purge from the wheels. However if you are sure the ABS pump has been murdered - then it pays off to undo it, otherwise it makes sure you cry.

in any case - change fluid every year without forgetting.

can we use a power bleeder in such case?

Also, how to make sure that the ABS pump is working, without a proper diagnostic system?

When the AHC screws up, its time for a proper offroad suspension and a lift.
