in the city it gives me around 5-6km/L but thats with a lot of drags and revving the engine for no good reason.
on a trip to kalam with the ijc a couple of years ago it did better then 7.9km/L.
on a recent trip to naran the numbers were as follows:

    -----------------------------Liters -------Kms ----------Kms/L

    Faisalabad - Islamabad ------43.63 -------358 -----------8.20

    Islamabad - Balakot ---------12.15 -------174 ----------14.32

    Balakot - naran - Abbotabad --57.49 ------309 ----------5.37

    Abbotabad - Faisalabad -------53.76 ------465 ----------8.64

Total ------------------------167.03 ----1306 ----------7.81 this included some offroading in low 4x4

theoretically the top speed should be around 245kms/h but practically i've only had the guts to go about 170-175kms/h. as for the the consumption, if i drive at 90kms/h on the highway it does 11+kms/L. the problem with a vehicle like this is, no matter what you tell your self, you always end up driving like a maniac!

Well 2UZ has alot of guts if the driver has potential but its not safe to run a TLC 40 at 200+km/h

exactly right. i'm getting questions about the top speed and acceleration, but where this suv really sets it self apart is off road. I'm sure you can't find a better vehicle for these purposes in any where near this price!

yes the main reason for the 2uz instead of the 1uz or a 2jz was for low range power and off road challenges not the speed.

Yes, the 2UZ idea was to primarily maximize low end power, but contrary to our expectations it turned out faster than the 1UZ. And contrary to what one might expect from a 45 year old platform, the reinforced chassis, drive-train and brakes do a good job at even at high speeds leaving it up to the driver to do justice. The fact remains that this vehicle is amongst the fastest 4x4s in the country with documented zero to sixty run in 6 -7 seconds. The 0 - 160 remains untested but perhaps the only things notably faster would be the German SUVs. One has to drive this vehicle to truly understand what is at offer here!

Best of Luck for the sale, Usama!
