Congratulation Brother, Wishing you the very best, good luck with your ride.

As for the front noise, start with bushes of the shocks and suspensions, then inspect the steering rack and then inspect the shocks itself for leakages, you shall find your culprit (y)
The trouble is that too often there is forty horsepower under the bonnet and one asspower at the wheel

    MashALLAH! & Congratulations!
Excellent machine! Try to keep it max. stock, & it will serve you perfectly!

    4d56 is very good engine.
Use Synthetic Oil only for maximum performance.
Get all the suspension nipples greased.
That Grease pump you'll find nearby heavy Dumpers & Truck Area, those guys have got that Big Manual Pressure Grease Pump.
If you wanna get FUEL Pump serviced & checked, goto Saleem Diesel wala in Garden, Karachi. You can count on him without a doubt.
    Vehicle History: Pajero 1 & 2 (4d55 Non-Turbo - 4d56 Turbo & 4M40 I-C Turbo) / Land Cruiser BJ60(13B-T Turbo) / Nissan Patrol GQ(Td422 Non-Turbo)

I am going today for oil change, DELO GOLD? its 15W40 oil is it synthetic oil ? or Rimula from Shell is a good choice? I have no idea regarding Diesel Engine oils.
@Demonoid hmm front body foundations got it.. suspension is not leaking than probably its bushes and ball joints? CV joints are in perfect order as far as I checked them on service station.

Good then get your front body foundations checked by expert also the D-Bushings of Balance rod & dont ever use synthetic engine oil in this engine, these engines are oldies, synthetic oils are for new engines and especially for petrol engines! Semi-Synthetic yeah you can think about that....

I will Recommend following engine oils

    Liqui Moly Super Formula 15w40

    OR

    ZIC 5000 15w40

    OR

    CEPSA Star Avant 10w40

Yesterday had oil changed and engine sound has become more of like clear i dont know how to describe and performing well till now.
Oil I chose was Delo Gold 15W40. Oil Filter was of QAIM, i guess oil filter is of low quality (comments please) and no other oil was available because of dharna in QTA. Regarding suspension mechanic has asked me to visit him this Saturday. He said there is no major problem after checking the drive just a bit of greasing, pressing and tightening. Lets see on Saturday. The average I am getting is around 6kmpl or 7kmpl as observed by looking at diesel indicator on dash.

Started jeep at 3 degrees Celsius today. Gave 2 glows today and again it started in half crank.
Thermostat valve is missing as told by previous owner this Saturday i have to get it installed as temperatures here do not exceed 11 degrees these days.

Well then you should change your oil between 2000-2500 km coz Qaim's oil filter are totally 3rd grade quality filters i have used them.
2ndly Delo gold is not a good oil and it should be changed after 2000 km coz this oil is now made is pak.

Now if you are going for thermostat valve then you have to take extra care of it, coz after installing thermostat valve drive your SUV on simple water no coolant for atleast a week and daily check the water level in radiator so if there is any old hose pipe it will worn out and you will know.

About average check if your SUV throwing excessive smoke, if it is throwing excessive smoke then get your diesel valve checked, and ask the mechanic to close the diesel a little bit.

These tips are for you.... Otherwise a good mechanic will know what you are talking about.

If you need anything else let me know....

Engine was overhauled around 400 to 500kms before thats why I had to change the oil so soon (recommended by previous owner). Excessive smoke it seems to through black smoke when accelerated hard but not during normal acceleration. As per last owner its in running period.

Good luck, Body shell seems to be in good condition though the fuel consumption is high. If you are in Karachi, goto saeed manzil abdul hameed & sons for suspension job. few of members have tested the place and happy with quality of work at economical price.

Please try & use genuine filters if not then at least A grade product. QAIM is not managing quality control
