Naltar houses PAF Ski Training School...which in this season presents some awesome lush green slopes...
And some marvelous views of surrounding peaks...
Some solo shots for memorabilia...
Different difficulty level of slopes for Ski students...
Some local wild life...
A small 18 megawatt hydro power project under construction near Naltar...
Tea break at Nomal on our way back from Naltar...Nomal is a small town by the main Silk Route through which the road leads to Naltar...
Not a Serena, but effective nonetheless ... good cup of tea indeed and was much needed...
What a beautiful contrast...lush green valley amidst barren mountains...
So we were on our way to Phander ...which basically meant that we had to pass through Gilgit...from Nomal there is this beautiful alternate route (other than KKH) that goes along the other side of the river...and presents some nice views and the road condition is also pretty good...
Outskirts of Gilgit from this route...
We were on the outskirts of Gilgit, travelling west on the Gilgit Phander (Our next destination) road, and there was this little snack shack by the river, we decided to have some snacks and tea before proceeding...
It was a nice, calm and refreshing place...
You have given me another mouth watering reason for visiting Hunza again
