    Default Hilux Vigo Smoke Problem

    Dear Diesel Experts!

Your help is needed, I have vigo-2006(thailand version)- automatic version, the truck gives thick black smoke on acceleration, heavy blows of smoke on sudden or harder push on accelerator, secondly it also gives small amount of black smoke continuously on AC. Lastly the voice of engine has also changed over last 4 month, I want to minimize the engine though its a diesel engine but i want to keep as less noisy as possible.

I consulted one mechanic near Garden KArachi, he advised to get the EGR serviced. However, i was advised by my car dealer to get the atomizer services.
Please advise what could be the root cause of this smoke issue and how it could be solved. Secondly, I am planning to get oil change please advise which oil is better for Vigo.

If possible please share contact details of good diesel mechanics in KArachi.
    Br,
    ZQ

get your vehicle fuel injector's compensation code's entry. The ECU will compensate the fuel according to each cylinder so hence less knock sound and good fuel efficiency as well and smooth acceleration on low range rpm's

    tough job,

remove the injectors first. Also check that the fuel pressure regulator valve is the updated part.
