    Question Pajero Vs. Safari

I have 2 options and im confused which one to go for, need experts advice & suggestions/experience/remarks.
Note: Don't mention toyotas under this post, only discuss the vehicles related to the topic.

    Mitsubishi Pajero Vs. Nissan Safari

    Points to compare:
    1. Bullet proof Tough / Durable / Reliable
    2. Comfort not necessary
    3. Fuel consumption not necessary

    1. Pajero 4d56 2.5 Turbo Intercooler OR Pajero 6g72 3000cc V6 Petrol

    Vs.

For durability and surviving in rough and tough conditions Nissan is far better then Mitsubishi. I have driven both, but if you ask me i would rank Toyota the best because it can survive anywhere hot or cold then comes nissan and after it mitsubishi. Anyways i will recommend Nissan over Mitsubishi anytime any day.

A poorly maintained Toyota will breakdown as often as the other poorly maintained vehicles. That said, Nissan Patrols are par to par with the Land Cruisers.

Since MitsuMan and DesertDevil are not really here, on their behalf : Pajero kicks Nissan **** anyday, anywhere, anyhow!

But seriously, if ruggedness is the only factor, then its not really a discussion here. But as Sherwan rightly links ruggedness/reliability with good maintenance, parts availability and maintenance cost also becomes relevant. But since your talking about old cars here, in the end whats perhaps more important is the current state of any particular vehicle rather than what its pedigree is.
