    Thanx Voyager and Beeberg,

I checked inside the Bonnet and found that still the Owner kept the original Mahindra engine ( Originally Peugout XDP engine )

    2112 cc, 68 bhp, Kiar 4+R gearbox ( available with a 4X4 attachment ). Differential ratio=9 X 44 pinion-gear set.

Nowadays, they are offering a number of engines like MDI ( direct injection 2500 cc and a XD3B 2523 cc IDI engine with a 5+1 speed gearbox and a borg warner electric 4X4 shift.

    Thanx Salarjee,

Infact, the bodymaker is one who is a specialist in converting Mercs into Limos and making camping vans utilising Bus body industry inputs. The rear oversized lights are actually found on Big buses here and these are not from any car or suv.

I do not know what made him to put the Mitsubishi flower logo and Ferrari stickers on this machine. He might be out of asthetics about such logos. Actually, here Car number plate makers take up such grooming jobs of putting decals, stickers, logos on jeeps and it might be their handiwork ( As it seems tobe the case here )
