    @storm
    After 300tdi engine came the Td5 which is 2.5L 5 cylinders with 122bhp and from 2007 there's a new 2.4L common rail 4 cylinder engine from ford which will give 122bhp at 2000rpm with new GFT MT 82 six-speed gearbox.

    Guys use "LIQUI MOLY" lubricants for ur vehicles....trust me it will improve the performance of ur vehicles...These are synthetic oils......i have tried its GL-5 grade transmission and differential oil.....gear shifting has improved at a drastic level...similarly engine oils are also avaialable with the treatments which give the engines a loinger life..... Its available in Pakistan but its expensive than regular oils as it is far more superior.....

    u should get the engine oil and the engine treatment..what u have to do is just to add 1/2 litre of the engine treatment to the engine oil..for example if ur engine consumes 5 liters of engine oil than first put 41/2 liters of engine oil and add the treatment to it. Use the gear oil as well GL-5 grade. By the way which one is ur ride??

    Land Rovers original engine 2.4 Turbo Diesel is very good on fuel & power full enough on the road or off the road as well. With few modifications Landy will win your heart "when it can pull a loaded stucked tractor trolley full of sugar cane".
    Attached plz find what Land rovers Looks like with few modifications.

    @shani606
    no doubt the fly fisher is a phenomenal defender (Y). i shoudl point out that the engine specs i gave were for local defenders which were either beng built or imported here since the 80's. However you are veryy right in terns of the TD5 repacing the 300TDi (though the TDi is a better engine for offroading & wading)
