    dear bro. reg. o/v my friends r using sarsilmaz and huglu (turkish). very good handling and nice guns.reg. sarsilmaz is with selected chokes but double triggers. while other gun is fixed choke and single selecter trigger. reg. semiautomatic shotguns they have sarsilmaz, huglu and hatsan. all guns with selected chokes 4+1 mag. capacity. i myself got my hatsan semiauto in last november. it has two barrels. one is 28" and the other is 24". it is also 4+1 but also got mag. extentioner to extend the capacity upto 7+1. its in "mossyoak breakup" camo. my friends recommended this gun. i used this during last partridge season and duck shooting and found it equally reliable and nice gun like my other geco germany d/b and remington usa semiauto. there seems an invasion of turkish and russian guns (semiautos, o/v, defenders and pumpactions) in lahore market. too many companies r introducing different models of their guns here in pakistan. i don't know about others but we r quite satisfied by these guns.

    Sorry for hijacking this thread, but msialvi has lot of first hand knowledge on Turkish guns, so I am taking this oppurtunity to ask more questions.

    @msialvi

    Thanks brother, for detailed reply.

    Can you tell how much you paid for this combo hatsan gun and from where did you purchase it? It seems a lot of gun with 2 barrels, multi chokes and magzine extender! Does it comes with a case? Does it repeat falwlessly with Shaheen cartridges? Is it light weight?

    How do you compare this gun with sarsilmaz camo pattern semiauto? Which is lighter and which has better finishing etc.

    Dear Msialvi,

    Thanks for all the information on the Turkish. Actually Shani told me about these. And they seem to be recommended other friends as well.

    Dear Saad Bhai,

    Jeepaholic is in town and we will try and meet up with you today. We will be working on his Bronco later in the day. And i am glad you are discussing this on my thread as i have interest in the matter.

    @saad_q @KhakiMB
    thanx brothers
    saad bhai i paid less than 50k for my hatsan repeater. i've fired approx. more than 2000 rounds in it so far and it has performed flawlessly. usually i use shaheen cartridges but this is capable of firing magnum shots too as it has 3" chamber. finishing is good. i've fired sarsilmaz too and its equally fine quality gun.both guns r very light and handling is very nice. my gun is in synthetic stock and yes it came with a case. i bought this from orient neela gumbad lahore. now i've heard that prices of these guns have been increased but not quite sure. before i was using old remington model 11 but it is very heavy and recoil is not very pleasant. now i am quite satisfied with my new gun reg. weight and very low recoil even with magnum cartridges. another nice thing about these guns is that they make patterns very nice just like any other expensive guns. for more information u can call me saad bhai. my # 03008606262. mail address is msialvi@hotmail.com. i'll be more than pleased to share the informations with both of u brothers. pay my regards to shahid bhai if u meet him

    Saw this thread again after a while...
    Regarding paper-element type air filter, it depends on how much space you have. Go to the local scrap yard and see which would fit in easily, Hi-lux, Hi-Ace, Town-Ace, Coaster. All aforementioned housings have cylindrical type paper elements availabe in all qualities all over Pak.
    Do not go for the housings having rectangular-type filtering elements, e.g. those coming out of diesel corollas and similar cars! Not that they are bad, but they do not fit into the overall theme of the Jeep.
    In the past, I went for a filter housing which came out of a coaster. There were two things which suited me, one being the angle of the piping (in/out) and secondly that the "air-intake pulse-equalizer" (also called ?????? ???? locally) was integrated in the housing as one unit! This made the engine very quite and refined.

    Friends,

    It has been a while since I have written on this post. 3CT works beautifully with the MB. I found out that my MB has the original 1942 gearbox. In which the main shaft broke. Sourcing for old parts is a pain. We are working on it and will let you know of the progress.

    @All gun fanatics...

    I have a small query from experts. I have recently bought a Pump action, Akkar Karatey, Turkish ofcourse. Would appreciate your feedback on the gun and would also like to know if i can use Rifled Slugs (for big game) in it without damaging it?

    After more than 2 years of love and pain the MB has been restored. There are a few minor works which remain. Here are a few pics. Must mention that this would not have been possible without the help of Jeepaholic.
