    Default Voyager’s New Surf

    A friend of mine who bought my 1st Surf (1996 SSR-G Sky Blue Color) was after me to sell my Surf (current ride 1997 SSR-G Beige Color) to him as he sold out his ride. I sold my Surf to him on a condition that I will keep it with me till I find one for me.

    The hunt lasted for over 2 months in which the markets of Karachi, Lahore, RWP, ISB and Abbottabad were searched. But the Surf I was looking for was hunted in Peshawar. My brother spotted the Surf and called me. We paid the advance token money and the next day we went again to Peshawar to finalize the deal.

    It’s 3rd Generation 1996 Turbo Intercooler Attaching SSR-G but upgraded to 2001. It has got New Front Bumper, Front Grill, Head Lights (Crystal), Indicator Lamps and Tailgate Lights of 2001 Model Surf. Brand New Michelin Tyres, well kept and well maintained.

    I M Loving it.

    Congratulations Javed Bhai, that's a nice color trim, looks best on a 4 Runner/SURF.

    Datz bahi, the first pic in the topic is of the 2nd test drive and the very first to the Northern Areas. I took it to Nathia Gali and Thandiani last week. And believe me it completely performed up to the expectations.

    The first test run was on the Motor Way the same day I bought and drove back to Islamabad.

    Thanks bro.

    @JUE

    AS I already mentioned the price in above reply (16.5). I don’t think that we can compare CIVIC with Surf as both vehicles are of different category. In any way if U want the comparison then CIVIC 1999 is a low ride car, comfortable suspension and a 1600 CC petrol engine with no offroad capabilities. But on the other hand Surf (SSR is a double cabin and I will tell you about Surf SSR-G the ride in the pix). Well Surf is a Sports ride with optimum engine and suspension performance. It’s a 3.0 Lts Turbo Diesel with intercooler. Surf SSR-G not only is a comfortable sports ride but an excellent offroader as well. It gives a pleasure of both a car and an offroad machine.

    About selling out Civic and buying Surf, I did the same I sold my zero meter Civic 2005 and got 1996 Surf SSR-G at that time. Believe me the fresh Japan imported Surf was much comfortable and better in performance in it’s category that I stopped using my Civic and have to sell it out.

    4Runner is American version and Surf is JDM. Both are the same with a little cosmetic change in Bumpers & fender mirror, no fender mirror on 4Runners & they hv chromed Steel bumpers.
