Thanks, I thought it looked fairly agressive n impressive in those days. Was lucky to have got the 4 Hella Rallye 2000 pencil beam lights, the light range from these were simply phenomenal.
You are right the (front shot) pic is some where in Swat region in 1990, it was long time ago so don't really remember where exactly. The flying pics before were in F-7 Islamabad from 1986.
The Pajero had travelled almost all four corners of Pakistan (Karachi, Quetta, Hunza, Skardu, most of Punjab and many many more). It had done more off-roading than most of that age vehicle and was most probably the first (thats what most locals lead me to believe) 5 door/long wheel base 4X4 to make upto Lake Saif-ul-Malook in 1987. In those days the passage and all of the U turns were so narrow that it required numerous reverses on each U turn because of the long wheelbase. But we made it, and much quicker than any local driver despite the significantly extra time taken on each U turn. Been there again as well and it was much easier/wider path.
