I'm a freak who lost his mind in the busy world of today and takes his frustration by being funny with others
Dear Rana Sahib.
As I said earlier, you have a right to an opinion, as flawed and prejudiced it maybe. I respect your right of opinion, despite the language and similes used in that opinion. I also honor your right of opinion, inspite of the fact that you have taken a stab at my taste, people of frontier, poor truckers, rickshaw and bus owners. I don't have intimate knowledge nor first hand experience with street pros nor londees, so I cannot respond to you on that.
I can take a joke as long as it is delivered tastefully and with respect to all. I cannot accept a joke when it is on the expense of someone, in this case the people of frontier.
I suggest that you visit http://www.landrovernet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57164 and read the comments made by hard core land rover defender enthusiast and owners to understand the British view on it.
Mics, Portagel , Faysall, thanks for the appreciation and feed back.
Faysall for the time being I am done with the modifications. Down the line I will surely seek your advise if I do something else to it. Right now its time to enjoy it (-:
I do agree that the back lights may be bit too much, but I since they are up I will keep them up.
The front 5 cab roof lights were inspired from Hummer and other American SUVS, as such lights are often found on many SUVs in the US.
The black checkered plating is something very unique to Land Rover Defenders. Many Defender owners put these up to protect their vehicles from minor dents and blings.
They are put on the bonnet and the wings so that you can climb on top it to view the horizon / terrain / scenery...whatever it is that you may want to see. In case my land rover it is purely for ornamental purposes.
However the plating on the door sills is very much functional as it protects the body against dents caused by shoes, boots, slippers etc of passengers / driver climbing in and out of the jeep.
Must say that u r rationale for putting things up is well-grounded.
would appreiciate to see pics of yer ride @ night.......when the stars on u r jeep gleam like the stars in da sky!
Slow down and enjoy life. It's not only the scenery you miss by going too fast - you also miss the sense of where you are going and why.
Aha, a poet amongst us (-:
Faysall i will post more pics later.
I think there are almost 5 months passed by when you first posted the topic. Still people are debating about your ride and making personal opinion. If you really had decided of keeping it, then it is a brotherly advice to please end up this discussion.
Your ride is MaShaAllah very nice and you had I think already spent a lot on it and it is your wise decision to keep it.

Test Driver: ALlhumdullillah, I am very happy with my landy and yes I am keeping it. There is no debate.
I had posted the upgraded picture just for a friend of mine and really it was not posted to open up any discussion.
No offence taken, as there was nothing offensive about your post.
