    dont buy the PAKISTANI hilux.

giv colarado a chance. american trucks are tough.

vigo is a beast. if colarado is cheaper than vigo go for it.

    @retaliator
wat do u mean by paki hilux??
he is aking abt that vigo and vigo is imported....

as far as buying is concerned than i think vigo is more in the market and will have a better resale... plus looks r killing as well. parts would be cheaper too i guess

okkayy i read it hilux, vigo or colorado.

indus hilux is crap. hilux vigo which is imported is gr8. i ve driven.

as far as spare parts are concerned neither the vigo nor any oder pickup require what we call "spare parts". the real spare parts brakes etc are avaialbe for both. dese pickups are quite tough. dey do not require as much maintenance as required by cars.

colarado is brand new. will be made in korea i thnk. their dealership is dere... which is quite strong and dey are assemblying chevy joy here..which shows dey r quite strong.

i ve driven vigo 3d3 model was 2005 i thnk. it is a beast of a machine. very fast. but it does hav a corrolla type of feel. same materials in the cabin. i was expecting better. i dont like this "toyota" feeling. so i wud buy the car which doesnt hav itttt. (surf and vigo both hav it)

given these two choices i ll go for colarado. cuz pickups do what they are meant to do... resale shudnt be an issue. all are engineered to be though.

there is a feature that i saw in toyota surf that i really like if it is present in either of the car then i ll buy it straight away. and that is its suspension can be made stiff or soft...there are two modes. it really makes the ride really comfortable.

In the Pakistani system (and most other countries), Chevy trucks cannot compete with Toyotas. The main thing where Toyota is "good" is 4x4, offroading and durability particularly in such driving styles.

You would be wise to stay away from Chevrolet trucks if you need engine power, torque, 4x4 use and the like.

The only one issue with the Toyota Vigo is that people say when low quality local diesel is engaged with the D4D engine, the fuel pump responds and demands very frequent and impractical replacements as well as excessive care.

    Talk to some Vigo owner.

imported hilux (probably vigo) listed on the toyota indus's site has a 94 hp 3.0 ltr engine whereas colarado has a 134 hp 3.0 ltr engine....chevrolet was one of the first companies that started making trucks/pickups if i m not rong. so colarado must b a good 4x4.

Vigo looks more commanding, as far as I see it.

Is the Colorodo petrol or diesel?
Torque is what matters (for going on mountains, off-roading), hp is insignificant.

    Compare the torque production.

    Salam Guys !!

HILUX from INDUS is MADE IN MALAYSIA with TROPICAL SPECS. including 3.0L 5L NON TURBO ENGINE and all the basic options whereas TOYOTA HILUX VIGO Imported from THAILAND is MADE IN THAILAND with TOP OF THE RANGE 'G" Specs. with Airbag, ABS etc. with 3.0L DIESEL TURBO 1KD ENGINE (same engine as PRADO) and it is 163 HORSE POWER (BHP). TOYOTA HILUX VIGO in Pakistan is directly imported from THAILAND through SONI MOTORS (THAILAND) Co., LTD. as they are the largest exporter of these kind of diesel pickups to Paksitan and all over the world.

CHEVY COLORADO is also MADE IN THAILAND and it's technology is based on ISUZU DMAX's PLATFORM therefore the parts of ISUZU DMAX can be used with CHEVY but neither of these brands are popular in Pakistan and got no resale value + no parts supply.

Now TOYOTA HILUX VIGO has a 2009 version available through Soni Motors Thailand and i am posting few pics here for you guys to have a look and ENJOY !!!

Well for MITSUBISHI TRITON i don't think it's that good as what you are mentioning. If compare with VIGO i give it just 80 out of 100. Here are few pics of the Mitsu Triton below.
