Default Surf SSRG and SSRX differences

I met a dealer today who had a SSRG Surf (2002 model) for sale. He said that the SSRX does not have an intercooler, and the SSRG does. It doesn't sound right, is he right?!

What is the difference between a Surf SSRG and SSRX? I know the G is a top of the line model and the X is a base model. Please mention specific differences.

    Thanks,

    Rao.

i suppose you are talking about the 185 chassis and not the 210/215. I know very little about the 185 chassis surfs about all you'll need to know abot the 210 & 215's. Hopefully a member by the ID of Voyager will be able to help you out as he knows all there is to know about the earlier surfs. perhaps you can email him. Sorry i cannot help you further.

The dealer also said that the SSRG and SSRX have different suspensions.
he might be referring to the Sports and Normal mode suspension option in the SSR-G which the SSR-X doesnt have. In normal mode, the suspension is soft, intended for daily driving while in sports mode it gets harder.
What have you been grateful for today..?

Not probably, but definitely. You switch from one mode to the other by the press of a button.

So in without the normal/sport suspension in the X, would the X feel more like the G in Normal mode or Sport mode?

Yes, i think the only thing is that it has a sunroof.
If the SSRX drive like the SSRG in normal mode, it shoudn't be too bad i think.

G's are normaly strong in interior seatings...wooden dashboard..e.t.c... without sunroofs are caled SSR simply SSRX limite are the reconditioned vehicles thats was earlier called backed by japanese and they fited 2.7liter engine in it as the earlier 2.4 surfs have haead cracking genuine fault in them....hope it'll be helpful
