    Yes, it is Barrichello's celebration week but for last 3 or 4 days I am suffering some pain in my hipbone for unknown reasons and thats why I was not able to sit infront of computer for longer period off time and do the search for his achievements.

    As for your question regarding Lauda and his Jaguar drive, yes I think it was a bet with Webber but Lauda also wants to check what's the difference of technique in driving nowadays car and the things that have changed in last 20 years at that time. His comments afterwards was some what hilarious that these cars are easy to drive but not for a driver as old as myself can drive these easily.

    You have heard it right, and it was not one but 2 ministers who wanted save their land has diverted the water towards Jacobabad and from their towards Baluchistan. Some more incidents have happened in lower Punjab area too of this sort. I just wish people of these areas learn a lesson and in the next election don't vote for those who have caused misery for them.

    @m_waqas
    really??.. good info there... proves the point of obsoleteness (if thats the right word)...
    I kind of disagree, because when Nikki Lauda retires second time at the end of 1985 season he lefts his helmet on the car, which many assumes that was end of his F1 career forever. So almost 20 years later in 2003 when tries to drive the Jaguar on the track it was more down to know what is the difference between cars of nowadays and cars of past.

    Yes you have warned me and I could assure you that I have not seen those photos during fasting.

    @Born2race
    Yes, Karun Chandhok and Sakon Yamamoto are the paydrivers as they are not getting any salary from the team but rather bringing sponsorship money for the team.

    why what happened??... did u see any doctor for this??.. hmm might be feeling barr's effect ... we should discuss your fav. Vettel and u'll be active as before...

    anyway... how r u feeling now??..

    then why did he put a bet on it??... but its understandable that a guy returning after 20 yrs can't match performance of contemporary drivers.. so i understand his lack of pace... look whats happening to the other 'champion' who has just returned after 4 years?? ...

    Yes, Karun Chandhok and Sakon Yamamoto are the paydrivers as they are not getting any salary from the team but rather bringing sponsorship money for the team.
    no kidding... really??... lolz.. thats bad or should i say in chandock's case its good ,..

    Unhappy

    Raikkonen appears to turn his back on a return to Formula 1

    I see that the leading French sports paper L’Equipe has an interview with Kimi Raikkonen this weekend, where he appears to close the door on F1 for good.

    The 2007 world champion switched to rallying this season after being dropped by Ferrari in favour of Fernando Alonso. He joined forces with Red Bull and Citroen in WRC and this led to suggestions that his route back into F1 might be with the current championship leaders, but RBR team principal Christian Horner has always dismissed such suggestions and this weekend Raikkonen seems to be saying that he will not be back in F1.

    “You never know, but I will probably not return to Formula 1,” he said. “I became the F1 world champion, which I had always wanted to do, but times have changed. I do rallying now and there is far more to life than F1.”

    He always looked and behaved like a man who believed that there is far more to life than F1. Raikkonen disliked the politics in the sport and the intensity of the media scrutiny, especially at Ferrari. He found the sport rather inward looking, as it certainly can be. He is more temperamentally suited to the ambience of rallying.

    Although he was never afraid of any competitor in F1, the level of driving is very high at the moment and with several top drivers in top cars, the competitions is probably as high as it has been for a couple of generations. To come back and face that he would have to be with a top team, like Red Bull, but as all the leading teams have at least one long term lead driver, there isn’t really a place for Raikkonen.

    And Red Bull and Ferrari’s contrasting experiences this season of trying to handle two top drivers shows, it’s not easy to manage.
    In rallying Raikkonen seems to be enjoying the challenge of building up a mental database of how the car behaves on the different surfaces, a process which takes many years and is the main challenge facing road racing converts such as him.

    Therefore it makes little sense to do a year of rallying and then stop. Only with several years of experience will the results start to come.

    “In racing, the surface of one circuit is not massively different to the surface of another, although there are some small changes, ” he says. “In rallying, the difference is huge on every event. There is so much variety on a rally: every kilometre and every corner is different. That’s why experience is so important in this sport. So I just need to keep on building up my knowledge.”

    His fellow Finn Tommi Makinen believes that Raikkonen should stay in rallying and that he is having a good time in WRC.

    “He seems to be happy,” he said.”Kimi is the kind of guy who wants to make success and find the best performance from himself. I’m sure he is the guy who is not giving up. That’s why I’m pretty sure he won’t jump out of rally yet. I’m pretty sure he will stay next year.”

    F1 is the elite level of motorsport and it is where great talents should reside and live out their careers. It’s interesting that for personality and temperament reasons, both Raikkonen and Juan Pablo Montoya ended up competing elsewhere, although Raikkonen did put in a nine year stint in F1, which is longer than most Finns, who historically don’t have very long F1 careers.

    @m_waqas
    Bro, I am having such pain because of an old injury which I suffered about 6 months back when I slipped on floor because of presence of some oil and water mixture in my apartment compounds gully. At that time I have not feel any pain but now after this long time I suspect I have suffered a bit off extreme stretching of muscles during travelling in Mini Buses recently which most likely cause the old injury to re-emerge.

    Yes, in my family both kind of doctors Aloepathic and Homeopathic are presents so have contacted both and now taking some medicine and also a pain reliefing cream are been prescribed. I am feeling alright the pain only emerges in some specific positions such as trying to stand up from laying down position etc.

    Sorry for a bit long description of the injury. I was thinking of Steve Slater syndrome which is the cause of such injury as he is more old then Rubens.

    As for Chandhok, I have to say there are always contradicting reports presents on the salaries as I have seen a new topic on PlanetF1 where Chandhok was been mentioned taking 100 thousand euros, but there was no mention of Sakon Yamamoto. Here is the topic:
    Planet-F1 forum: Planet-F1 Chat => Drivers salaries - updated list&

    Why he puts a bet, well western people can bet any thing even their death too so its part of their culture I presume.

    The real question is how much time it takes you to name all the known champions.

    Thanks for the advice, Bro. I have already been told by my doctor uncle that if the medicine doesnot work you may have to see a specialist for your injury. But thanks to Allah, the pain is starting to disappear because of medicine so may be I don't need to see the specialist but who knows. My whole believe is on Allah that He will do what is good for me.

    I `d be interested in what Webber and Massa are being paid for 2011, both drivers having signed new contracts. Massa's high salary must have been for his performance in 2008. Highly doubt he will be paid anything like 14 million now. Webber's would be interesting too, given that no one ever thought he could be a title contender, maybe that alone best illustrates how superior the Red Bull is, or how hyped up Vettel actually was ( joking Steve) but after his performance this year it would be interesting to know how much he is being paid for 2011.

    Chandhok is a pay driver. That's been known for awhile. Sorry Paula, i know you must be heart broken.

    Ahh the famous what if Raikkonen bit..... never ending story. Like so many scenarios that are painted for his return, putting him in different cars for 2011, what if he was not so greedy? What if he had not priced himself out of driver market. What if he was informed, he had more money than he could spend for the rest of his life, given that he only needs Vodka, and if he had offered to drive for free. There was a very famous driver, and dare i say a lot more talented than Raikkonen, who famously offered to drive the 1993 Williams car for free because he was only interested in winning races and world titles. It didn't happen in `93 because of other reasons, but it could have worked out for Raikkonen and made him a very appealing prospect. In all honesty, his only hope was Red Bull. Ferrari would never hire him again, Mclaren tried but were not willing to pay the money Raikkonen wanted, and Mercedes was never realistically interested.

    So, if Raikkonen had offered to drive for free or a minimal amount, maybe Red Bull would have been interested. I say maybe because that team seems to exist for one purpose, and having Raikkonen in that team would not let Marko and his people achieve that dream, a dream which looks likely to be wrecked by Webber anyway

    @genius83

    Hope you are feeling better, bro. As someone who has lived with chronic back problems from a very young age, i can say nothing works better than Diclofenac, be it sodium or potassium but you can't take a lot of them or you`ll have other problems. Recently, a couple of months back, i fractured two ribs and the best thing given to me at that time was Voltraren emulgel, which is Diclofenac too, but a gel. I could not sleep for days before that `cause of the pain, but it did wonders. Do look into it and ask some one in your family about it. The other thing that helped me was the " magic spray " the kind you see used on sportsmen, that was good too. It would numb the the area and i would be able to breathe without pain. Do look into those things if your condition does not improve. Another thing could be your bed, make sure the matures is firm and when you sit anywhere don't keep your wallet in your back pocket.

    What Niki Lauda knows about Ferrari politics

    The spat between '70s Ferrari star Niki Lauda and the Scuderia over team orders in recent weeks, has made for interesting reading, but as Tony Dodgins explains, it comes from a fairly complex history between the two.
    As I sat in the aeroplane cockpit I heard the voice from the control tower:

    "You've got a two hour delay. No more priorities, no more VIP treatment. You left Ferrari, you *******..."
    Come back, Luca Badoer, all is forgiven.

    Thanks for your sincere advices, I have asked my uncle about your suggested medicine and he has told me that some of the medicine that I am using are almost the same that you have suggested. Also, the pain reliefing gel is the same as what you have used. The only thing that I have not used is "magic spray".

    As for your suggestion of checking the bed and mattress, well I have checked the bed and it is in good condition while the mattress is new so it is quite firm too. I never put wallet in my back pocket at all.

    here comes another one ... but why should both drivers be punished??..

    hmm... it says he wouldn't stay if he wins the championship.. what if he doesn't??..

    hmm.. quite a contradicting point of views... but it seems removing F-duct will be the general practice for monza ...

    quite an interesting read.. but a tad confusing.. whats his point... to me it seems he just corroborated what we already know about team orders habit of Ferrari ...

    Ahem....would Bernie let that happen? Would he want Ferrari out of title hunt and risk losing a considerable chunk of the audience?

    As for Mosley, he is still sour about what FOTA, mostly Dennis, Luca and Briatore did to him.

    Webber may not race in F1 beyond 2011

    hmm... it says he wouldn't stay if he wins the championship.. what if he doesn't??..
    He`d be around 35, in 2012. Would be time to move on irrespective of whether he wins the title this year or not.

    quite an interesting read.. but a tad confusing.. whats his point... to me it seems he just corroborated what we already know about team orders habit of Ferrari ...
    I think that's an excerpt from his biography. Little did he know years later an Austrian in an Austrian team would be fighting for the world title Ferrari just put stuff on their website to remind him of how he liked things when he was driving. He has quite a different view now that he is not driving and Red Bull's model seems very appealing to him now, which was not the case when he was racing.

    The bit about sitting in the cockpit of his plane and having the air traffic controller tell him-what he did, was funny.

    Spa-Francorchamps a natural wonder to Sutil
    Force India driver Adrian Sutil says that the Spa-Francorchamps circuit is one of the most beautiful and challenging on the calendar because of its 'spectacular corners' and changeable weather.
    The most beautiful and best racing track in the world by a country mile. For me, no track comes even remotely close to Spa.
    Come back, Luca Badoer, all is forgiven.
