    Here is the latest one, Mark Webber to Ferrari, and not Kubica Webber's contract is up at the end of this season, i had alluded to this driver change in one of my previous posts, after the Spanish GP. Massa's contract is up at the end of the year and Kimi only has a one year contract. Will Raikkonen want to return ? I think if the Red Bull is as it is and it's likely to get even faster and more reliable next year, going by Adrian Newey's past record, than yes, Raikkonen will come back because he will be sure of having a championship winning car.

    Regarding Kubica, it's very hard to say no when Ferrari comes calling. It all sounds good, being at Renault, being the #1 driver there, build the team and win but it doesn't always work out like that. Some times things don't go as you plan. At Ferrari, he will just about always have a race winning car, if not a championship winning car every season. He is Alonso's best friend. Renault hired him on Alonso's recommendation. Whether Kubica has it in him to go to Ferrari and pair up along side Alonso remains to be seen. Ferrari hired their 70 million dollar man for a reason, to win races and world titles.
    There are some rumors that Ferrari have to take up their option on Kubica by mid july.

    Massa probably will stay at Ferrari, with a lot less salary and an unwritten understanding about what his role within the team is. He is valuable for Santander, with their ever expanding business in Brazil. They will not want the Brazilian to go, who can help their brand in one of the world's biggest markets. Massa on the other hand might have different thoughts, he might be dreaming of being a team leader at one of the teams, maybe Renault, if Kubica moves to Ferrari, maybe a Red Bull seat if Raikkonen doesn't return. Both Webber and Massa are good, very good but not really good enough. Having said that, the way this season has gone so far, Webber might be in the championship hunt come the end of the season and Red Bull might not want to let him go.

    Silly season has started pretty early but strangely this time around it's most about the second tier drivers
    Come back, Luca Badoer, all is forgiven.

    @Bimbo-Paulioni

    PR is not the only thing. Raikkonen lacked and will lack certain things which are almost an integral part of today's F1. The inability to be part of a team effort, the inability to lead a team, the inability to help develop a team are just a few that come to mind straight away.

    Language might have been a barrier when he went to Ferrari, but then it was the same for Schumacher, who thought it necessary to learn Italian. I am not suggesting Raikkonen show the same level of commitment but honestly there was nothing from him. Massa had to learn Italian, and their new driver is half Italian anyway, so he speaks fluent Italian.

    Again my argument being, why was Massa so much quicker than Raikkonen in 2008 and 2009, untill he had his accident? I think no one is quicker over one lap than Raikkonen, and I am a fan of Alonso Something was missing, call it lack of professionalism or give it any other name or as Steve rightly said, Raikkonen wanted to drive fast cars and drink Vodka, something he would have done easily in the 70's and 80's, but not in the image F1 is trying to portray now. A gifted driver no doubt but maybe in the right sport at the wrong time.

    His quotes, if you have a lot of spare time, you can find many famous driver/team quotes Here
    Raikkonen quotes are on page 170 though.

    @genius83

    I remembered that one, i think there is a video of that too some where on you tube but it wasn't on that page. I basically copy pasted that one page

    As for Paula, i think you deserve her/he/it. Please work on it and develop it into something better for next season. Enjoy it

    @Eddie

    Mate, we are waiting, still waiting for your birth certificate. We, at least i, am not going to forget that so easily and let Paula corrupt you, which she clearly seems to wanna do
    Come back, Luca Badoer, all is forgiven.

    Sorry for such a late reply, Yesterday my net connection was broken because of electricity problem.

    @Omar
    Just one thing Bro, when you are posting quotes from news articles then please post the source too. It is part of rules of F1 fan club.

    @m_waqas
    My question was not directed towards anyone, I have just asked it because I know UK most likely have read that article from where I have taken the clue of Webber's move to Ferrari.

    @UK
    Bro, both drivers are good friend of Alonso, so I would not be amazed if either of them ended in Ferrari. But I want to see Kubica first learning the skills of a team leader and building team around himself then his move to Ferrari will be better before that and He will not been able to compete Alonso at all.

    On the other hand Mark has past his prime and even if he would be in title contending position at the end of this nothing will change, because RedBull is more focus on Vettel then Webber. Also what if he wins the championship this year and just like Button moves to take a whole new challenge of competing against Alonso, who would stop him.

    Kimi's lack of motivation in 2008 and early 2009 is down to many things and one of them was Ferrari trying to give an even chance for both their drivers make a fundamental error in desiging 2008 car which was more suited to Massa's style the end result Kimi start loosing motivation as he is the kind of driver who needs a bit more attention then some other drivers.

    hmm...weber in ferrari...i kind of agree with steve...sounds possible sounds better than kubica..cause weber won't have any issue being #2 driver as he'll be happy to have a seat for next year....kubica is young and shouldn't start playing #2 driver role as yet in my opinion..

    Raikonen returning to F1?..its possible and has to be only with Redbull...but if vettel stays at redbull then there can be a friction b/w raikonen and vettel..possible fight to be #1 driver though vettel will be favored by the team...vettel being lively out-spoken energetic and more at home with redbull...raikonen will have sympathies of fans but i don't think he'll do more to incorporate himself with redbull..hence previous problems (as with ferrari) will arise again this time with RBR.....

    all Raikonen wants is to wakeup go driving and comeback home...he doesn't wanna stay at circuit hang out with team mates do some publicity stunts help develop car help understand himself to others etc..na...its not his game..he wants to remain secluded...

    @UK
    @Bimbo-Paulioni
    so is it the name of your new crush? ..sounds italian...

    and bro can u verify its (eddie's certificate's) authenticity?...though steve seems convinced..

    honestly i think its a waste of money and bit ostentatious ....
    i can see why kimi was discouraged to remain in F1....

    Bro, have seen your PM and I could provide you the needed info by tonight. Also don't worry I am working on the MotoGP thread and it will be available just around Sunday this week.

    @m_waqas
    McLaren doesnot need to pay any thing for these diamonds these are only for promotional purpose by a diamond shop from Monaco and they every year provide diamonds for such type of things. In 2004 Jaguar have a diamond present on the nose wing and that car has hit the barrier and lost that diamond.

    Also don't worry I am working on the MotoGP thread and it will be available just around Sunday this week.
    you're the man buddy -Formula 1  - Season 2010 - - icon14...

    McLaren doesnot need to pay any thing for these diamonds these are only for promotional purpose by a diamond shop from Monaco and they every year provide diamonds for such type of things. In 2004 Jaguar have a diamond present on the nose wing and that car has hit the barrier and lost that diamond.
    hmm..i know...still its not doing any good to the sport..

    good...but things often turn out differently in qualifying...

    There is no comparision between Kimi and Webber, Kimi is always a No. 1 driver for any team while Webber was never been considered as a solid #1 in any team. So Mr. Steve Slater is doing what he used to do, annoys F1 fans with things that are not correct.

    Just another example came last season before Alonso's contract with Ferrari was announced Steve Slater wrote in one of his column's that Alonso is going on a one year contract to McLaren for 2010 season while in 2011 he will join Ferrari and we knows at that time that it was not possible at all.

    @m_waqas
    When F1 is in Monaco, they are there to show bling bling and not providing anything useful for F1 itself. Even Monaco doesnot comply many FIA standards for holding a race but the money they have provide them the oppurtunity to holds a race as Bernie wants money.
