    Horner: Blaming Webber a 'mistake'
    Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner has acknowledged that it was wrong for some in the team to publicly blame Mark Webber for the Turkish Grand Prix collision, and says everyone is now agreed that it was a racing accident. The company's motorsport advisor Helmut Marko had implied that Webber was the guilty party in the tangle with Sebastian Vettel that cost Red Bull an Istanbul one-two. Red Bull later insisted it felt both drivers were equally culpable, and Horner now says Marko's remarks were made in error before the full fact emerged.

    Who is Helmut Marko
    The Red Bull debacle in Turkey has brought the management of Red Bull Racing into the focus and perhaps it is worth explaining a little about how it works – and who does what.
    The team is listed as being Austrian, but it is based in Milton Keynes in England. In reality it is about as Austrian as bangers and mash. I doubt more than a couple of people at the factory could name the Austrian Chancellor. Nonetheless, it is widely believed that it is the Austrians who make the decisions – which is their prerogative, as they also pay the bills…

    Contracts are not worth the paper they are written on as famously shown by Button, who signed for Williams while under contract with BAR/ Honda- that led to the case going to courts before it was decided in favour of BAR/Honda. He might not have been world champion had he succeeded in moving to Williams.

    Latest example is of Kimi Raikkonen. So, whilst Massa has a two year contract, he is in no way guaranteed a seat for 2012. Ferrari has made a decision which suits their sponsors and quite literally put their eggs in one basket. Alonso, as expected will lead Ferrari for a few years to come and Massa, the faithful #2. It works for Santander, and works for Ferrari.

    Sad to see Kubica miss out. Oh well, Mercedes seat beckons
    Come back, Luca Badoer, all is forgiven.

    I know whom UK wants to bin his car in the Wall and he is none other then Hamilton because he is overdue to do the honour.

    @UK
    Don't you mean Chrome and RedBull as Silvers are not that close.

    @All
    I want both Chromes to meet the Wall.

    @Blackeye117

    Almost spot on little bro. I have my eyes on a dark blue car carrying #5, rumor has it-that it gives you wings and as genius said a chrome car carrying #2 Maybe with a little luck it can be split into two parts, #2 the chrome car hitting the wall and the dark blue #5 car having brake problems. Unlikely i would say with #2 car, he is pretty good on street circuits and Canada is almost that, part normal road, part purpose built racing track.
    Given a choice between the two, I have to go for car #5 I am not for anyone hitting the wall hard, thats plain stupidity to wish. A little brush with the rear tire, breaking the suspension etc is all i ask

    Alright, that does it. As they say, nothing personal , it's only business. You been asking for it for a long time and genius83 shall be sent to sort you out pretty soon. Your extra curricular activities are very suspicious and maybe genius83 needs to be tested for STD

    @genius83

    You are right bro. I meant the chrome/silver ones and not the other team. Having said that, it's one of those tracks where Schumacher does go well. He might get a podium from this race with a bit of luck hopefully.
    On a different note, I am a little curious about where the safety car line, first or second, would be on this track given the entry to the pitlane is different. Any idea?
    Come back, Luca Badoer, all is forgiven.

    I think the first safety car line will be just before the final chicane at the end of speed trap.

    STD are you kidding I may be like bimbo, but I am not Shoaib Akhtar.

    Hamilton going strong on street circuits is a myth he bins his car on these tracks for no reason, last season he bins his car at Monaco, in 2008 bin his car in the back of Kimi's Ferrari at the end of pitlane at Montreal.

    Montreal has achieved a sell-out crowd for its first Formula 1 race in two years, with the organisers of the Canadian Grand Prix reporting that they closed sales for 2010 this afternoon.

    Button not underestimating Red Bull<!-- end title -->
    Jenson Button believes Red Bull Racing will remain a major threat for victory at this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix, even though the track will not play to the strengths of his rivals' car.

    I am amazed that you have not figured it out after the way I was trying to save RedBull from the situation after Turkish GP incident. If they are not my favourite team you would see a total bashing of RedBull from my side, just like I did with Hamilton after Chinese GP.

    This week we also have LeMans 24, and Bourdais is on pole in the Peugeot. Also how will Mansell family do.

    yes i had a hunch that it might be the case but in turkish incident both were redBull so it wasn't that clear whether u were defending Vettel or redBull ... what else you're hiding?? ...

    and Bourdais on pole in LeMans??...good for him..but who can watch 24Hr race?? ...... i'd also love to see an F1 race on this track..but Magny-Cour is equally good in France...

    so early??... its the start of centering the team around him now..poor roseberg...

    ha....this duo will be fun to watch...
