"I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it." - Clint Eastwood

Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.
NOPE. I used to drive my fathers govt car with limousine black tints, no challan ever.
ride hard die young
Its not the vehicle who brakes the law, driver brakes the law so actually its the drives who receives chalan
off course brother they can get a ticket
!!!!!!!!One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: that word is love!!!!!!!!!
@all ................shezy_optra_dohc has answered the question!
I do not know for other cities, but in Islamabad, I have seen myself govt plate vehicles' drivers getting tickets. A senior police officer also told me that cops gave him a ticket for driving at 80 kmh in 70kmh zone and despite he was driving a green plate official police vehicle, he accepted the speed ticket because law was same for all citizens. Only President of Pakistan is immune from any sort of prosecution till he is in power.
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.
haha nice joke
Reality is Just An Illusion !
My seeing expierence in peshawar (i) all govt vehicles brake laws (no stopping on red light) (ii) other who brake laws are afghan drivers.
nobody is exempt from the laws of the country,.. they may get away a few times but eventually the law WILL catch up to them.
1. A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, 2. Resale wont save your life in an accident, 3. Genius has limits, stupidity has none, 4. Never argue with an idiot, they will bring you down to their level & beat you with experience, 5. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young! 6. انّا للہ و انّا الیہ راجعون
Every govt car is challaned
if the traffic police guy does not have the...... then thats another story.
and as i think NO officer has that much time to argue or tell who he is so they mostly say dont waste my time hurry up.
mostly the drivers argue and stay there so some time they get away without a challan
so the botton line is it does not matter who is getting the challan but matter who is doing the challan
During my recent visit to dubai I saw a traffic shurta challan an other shurta for driving wrong way. Thats rule of law. But in Pakistan cops challan only poor motor cyclists for 40/50 Rupees. Have you ever seen cops challan a Prado, Range Rovers, or for that matter Civic, Corollas. Challan of a Govt. Vehicle by a cop, you are kidding man. Atleast not in Karachi which has one of the most corrupt traffic force.
Well my friend (who has a learners license) drives his fathers govt cultus all tha tym. he claims that he cannot receive challan cause his car's documents are like somwhere in khi . anyways as dr shezy optra stated above i guess getting a challan is not possible . in isl the ticket system is probably sumthin different.
If i get challaned for not having license but i have ID card.
but can i just say i left my cars documents at home????
so they register challan on my id card...
cause giving them the papers is a real hassle
esp. to the faujis
my car is rwp registerd and registerd by the name of ssp rwp ( my uncle)
about 5 times i was getting challan in rwp and islmbd but wardon after looking uncles name and ssp house address..let me go.... and i remember one wardon write my cell no on his diarry and said ' ssp sahib ko kehna meri chuti ki application pass ker dain"
and at other incident " mery bhai ka kaam phasa ha office mein who kerwa dain"
and even lhr dey let me go.
but in gujranwala i got challaned!!
