budget if 30 lahks is more then enuff
the car is good but it drinks alot of diesel and i honestly would not go for diesel varient as diesel we get here is really dirty, atleast if we have a petrol prado we can feed it some high octane. parts are expensive and worst of all is getting stuck in traffic on a pull with a prado...

Go for any model in between 1997-2001 from 2000 above you'll be getting it with 1 KD i.e smoke free, better fuel consumption but a little bit noisy if compared with the former 1 KZ,gasoline variants are very rare in this model so don't ever think about them,if you consider them then stretch your budget a little bit and go for a 2002-2003 TX or TX limited(Gasoline) or may be if you search well you'll be able to find a good one even in this bracket,as far maneuvering in traffic is concerned i am sure this is not going to be your daily runner,Go for only TZ version by this you'll be having the feature of Dual A/C, and above the all its a real good with all luxuries safeties and a better off road machine.

my suggestio nis to avoid the petrol models unless you can handle the car giving you a 6-7 average (mixed). the diesel model has a better powerband for the heavy body and it'll be less problematic to run since diesel is available everywhere in pakistan.

go for th ehighest possible spec in your budget regardelss of model (year), the more "toys" it has, the better resale it'll have.

go for 2000 or 2001.not go for 19s,my father have a 2000 model.its very good.when we bought that we only inspected its engine.cz its the most precious and valuable thing in it.other things can be changed easily.
and one thing more, dont worry about fuel economy,cz if u can buy a car for 2 to 3 million then u must not worry about fuel.
